Disconnect De-Ranking, OW under-delivering

It appeared to be fixed, but I just got hit by this again. 4 Disconnects in a Comp game, all on Round 2, 2 disconnects from each team (I was one of the disconnected ones from my team) plus a few AFK moments from players, not sure whether that’s 'cause they got tilted and started typing though. Either way, 3 of us managed to come back, 2 from their team, and me from my team. We got rolled on Defense, obviously.

At the same time, here I am, stupidly considering how many LeSserafim skins I want, giving those people way too much money for essentially zero-cost stuff (when you divide the production cost by how many items you can sell, which is basically infinite, you essentialy get zero. They could sell it for 10 cents and it’d probably still be profitable,'cause pretty much everyone would buy all of them. They’re just trying to maximize value by creating artificial scarcity, and using that to maximize profits, customer satisfaction be damned).

I wonder what the heck is wrong with Blizzard that they think this is ok. I expected things would improve without Bobby Kotick, instead we got Mythic Skins/Weapons who cost almost 10x as much as the Battle Pass (And you get one in the BP that cost you a fraction of the Mythic-thing price), Collab Skins that IF you buy them all at once cost just short of 7 Battle Passes (If you buy each caracter separately it’s actually 14 times the BP, and if you buy each item separately it costs basically as much as a trip to Lunar Colony Horizon, or something like that)…

I don’t know, just kind of putting it out there. I think this is just wrong, and Microsoft does a lot better in so many areas, it’s hard for me to believe they’re ok with this BS. Microsoft was never cheap, but overcharging and under-delivering, that’s not something I expected from them. At the very least, I expected them to do something, anything really, to make up for their mistakes, but right now I’m actually considering the price of the PVE-Scraps (Missions) to be pretty reasonable. Almost feels like I’m brainwashing myself to put up with abuse.

I noticed that every time a bigger update has been shortly after, the comp always gets disconnected problems Every time especially when the updates that gas veen around 2gig or more i have no problem in other modes but comp always gets like this after a big update

Yeah but this is getting ridiculous. It’s not just Comp, I’ve been suspended from friggin’ Quick Play due to random disconnects, and Comp Queue times are going throught the roof (7 minutes for any role, and I’m not even checking when times used to be longer than 1 to 2 minutes. I’m kind of scared to even check tbh).

If I’m gonna have to wait 7 minutes for a Comp game, might as well do away with role queue, so no point to OW2 and this awful monetization madness. And if they’re gonna disconnect me, they could at least give me some mode where I’m not suspended because of whatever they’re pulling out of their behinds.

This is seriously getting to a ridiculous level, with how much money and time I’ve put on this (Enough to buy OW1 many, many times) this is starting to feel borderline scam to me. Not sure how they manage to keep doing this to players without consequences (And I don’t mean people just favoring Rivals, I mean lawsuit-level consequences, people paid for OW1, they replace with this free-to-play junk that actually costs way more than OW1 to get the same Lvl of cosmetics and stuff, and now it doesn’t even work properly).

And yet, Steam reviews keep improving, and we keep buying overpriced Skins. I mean, Ashe’s Fearless skin looks really nice, on pair with the Deadlock skin as the best Ashe Skins IMHO… But then again I’m not even good with Ashe, I mostly play Support or Tank. Yet I started aim-training more with Ashe than Ana just 'cause I like the skin. Like, what the heck is wrong with me? :rofl:

I guess I just feel betrayed by Blizzard and Microsoft. They have the opportunity to save my game, and yet they’re doing worse than Bobby Kotick, how in the world do they manage to do that?!? Still, it’s hard to keep trusting them when they keep doing this kinda stuff. I seriously trust the Dev team, still do, I’m a dev myself so I get how awful management (Especially upper management) can be, pretty much every Dev knows Suits usually screw up everything. But it’s like everytime they give us any hope (Perks& Stadium) as soon as we lower our guard they hit us with a Monetization + Bugs combo that really hurts. :confused:

The thing is most of the time the time shown is incorrect when it shows 10 min i get games instantly but when it shows 7 min it takes more than 10 so dont trust the time showing same whwn ot is green below 5 min is the longest que times i get but above 7 and the games start 1-5 min after

I just got disconnected out of the blue (it was not lagging at all) when winning. After reconnecting, got credited a loss and banned for 1 hour.
This game needs to get those issues sorted out, this is ridiculous.

Similar topic. It’s happening pretty frequently. I’d say focus on one thread so we can pool more people together, however Blizzard ignored a similar thread.
