Did Ashe was removed?

True, but there was likely a lot of internal backlash and concern about news reports coming in the near future.

Yep, that’s true, they did have alternative graphical work for China since it was a different company handling it there, but when Blizzard took over, they probably decided to change that themselves, and like above stated, it’s still speculation, overall.

Only really applies to Free-to-play. WoW’s limited sales on various mounts and other goodies tends to have a greater survival rate.

Another great example. You see, they’ve done this so many times that even I couldn’t name every example off the top of my head, lol, and I’ve been extremely critical of Blizzard every time they censored something.

so over the shoulder a pose based on pinup girls really it was changed because it made more sense for tracer the pilot

Ahh I see. OW is the only Blizz game I’ve ever played. Actually I played some Hearthstone back in the day but I don’t remember it much.

no over the sholder was just traver standing nutral with her butt to the player making it a pin up matched her character better

And it was actually more bootylicious than the original pose.

The pin-up pose made sense because those are put on the side of planes and tracer was supposed to be a pilot. It was removed because blizzard lacks a spine and will bend the knee.

exactly like im not going crazy here people are just charry picking like look at widow just all of widow ant tell me it was because she was to risky like come on mercy just had a swim suit skin like this is redicules and these people are jsut doing it for clicks on their videos and blogs

You sound like you know more about that topic than I do. Can you give me a brief history, if you know it, of Blizzard’s history in China? I know that Blizz needed to work through the Chinese company Netease, that they weren’t even allowed to be in their market unless it went through a Chinese “private” business that basically made sure that anything Blizzard released fit into the CCP’s box. But I don’t know anything about Blizzard directly taking over in China, etc. Can you explain?

its not tho its in the game and was changed after someone said her neural look back was to boring

it litteraly draws the eyes t othe butt more then the old pose

K, doesnt change the fact blizzard removed the original pose because someone complained on twitter.

ya and they inturn made it more provocative and more lore accurate

Arguable, but still sets a precedent of removing things because of pressure from social media.

That’s the same reason McCree’s noose spray was removed. Even though nooses have many records of use throughout history, some random people only seem to remember it having been used against blacks, and so complained that the spray was racist and Blizzard removed it, lol.

Not even the latest hardware could support such thigh gap.

It’s very funny to me when ragebait videos that are just speculation and opinions have big buzzwords like CENSORED in red, like they got the inside scoop.

They remove things like tracer’s pose because it didnt fit the character.
Has this person seen anything related to widow?

Wasn’t Widow’s butt censored too? It was reduced in size, iirc.

reaper was peepin but bob was in the way so they did a disappearing trick on ashe

but seriously i just think they wanted to show mercy front and center to sell her skin and there is no ashe skin so no sense to put her in the picture why they removed it

also using old assets is pretty lazy, should have just made another piece of artwork with mercy’s skin

i dont have any proof but i think so. so was tracer’s i presume.

there was an old beta trailer of overwatch 2 before overwatch 2 released showing tracer in new queen’s street and i swear she had more of a dump truck

They trimmed it back in like 2017 yeah but they’ve also released things like the côte d’azur skin and even this season’s shop skin. It feels more like artistic expression than puritanical culling to me.
