I tried to put together an updated list of common Sombra bugs, the examples were gathered with the help of users of /r/SombraMains and a couple of clips from Fitzyhere’s stream (https://www.twitch.tv/fitzyhere). All bugs in the list are currently in game and all the examples in the gifs were taken from games after the most recent patch of Feb 27 2018.

Phantom throw: the animation for throwing translocator is completed but no translocator comes out and the ability does not go on cooldown.

Phantom translocate: you translocate on the spot rather then where you left the translocator. Apparently it happens when translocator is left in inaccessible locations, though the player has no way of knowing they are leaving translocator in such a place.

2.1) Phantom translocate also happens if you try to teleport the exact moment your translocator expires.

Death while translocating: translocating animation starts but you still die on the spot.

Spinning translocator bug: this can happen the first time you use translocator after dying while translocating, the camera spins wildly and goes back to the spot where you died for a few frames then teleports the player facing a different direction from where they started.

Camera bug: the camera should remain facing the same direction you were facing when you start to translocate but sometimes it moves at an angle, disorienting the player.

When you mess up a translocator throw and it lands out of the map the ability goes on cooldown normally but sometimes translocator lands on something and remains deployed for 20s, at this point your only choice is to wait it out.

EMP’s interaction with Orisa’s shield is buggy: when Orisa’s shield is placed partially inside a wall EMP cannot destroy it.
