Is QP classic a permanent (meaning always there) Arcade mode? Because if so, getting those 3 weekly boxes just became super good for me.

Because no one goes to QP outside of a new hero release to play a Tank or Support? The dearth isnât because no one wants to solo it, they just donât want to do it in the first place.

Is it possible to have a Role-Swap system put in at some point? There are a lot of variables that happen after hero select and we need to be able to flex based on them: what heroes the enemy team has chosen, what heroes we are individually strongest as, what map we are on, what point we are capturing, Attack vs Defense, etc. A player could request during Hero Select that they want to swap their role with another playerâs role. Players receiving the request can then either accept or decline.
Examples:

I will probably always queue up as Tank, but when we get Paris Defense I would prefer to play Junkrat. I could send a request to the two Damage players that I would like to swap roles with one of them.

Say my top two heroes are Orisa and Junkrat and my friendâs top two heroes are Winston and Soldier. I queue up as Tank and she queues up as Damage. After the match has started, we realize Winston is the better tank for the job and sheâs a stronger Winston than I am. We would need to swap roles so she could choose Winston and I could take over Damage.
Well that explains why Iâm not worried. I guess the insta-lock DPS warriors who provide nothing to their team have more to think about.
That unfortunately cannot happen as long as role-queue takes place. Not unless they completely change how it works.

Thatâs sadly not going to change, but at least I wont be solo taking/healing, so it provides an experience most similar to what comp will be.
âŚthey can practice for comp in custom matches. Thatâs what theyâre there for.
Quickplay is just an alternate mode. And most people who use it, use it as an alternate to competitive. Because they donât want to play competitive.
The ones that wanted 222 will be there and take it srsly, the casuals who play selfishly can play the arcade mode.
In these whole 3 years plus some months, this is the first time Iâve seen someone from the Overwatch team being in touch with what is actually going on with the game/playerbase.

Why not? What stops me from being a good Moira and Sombra at the same time? I switch the roles all the time depending on the situation.
i donât want to play A ROLE. I want to win a game. If my team needs dps - I do that, our Moira is DPSing too much, I go support.
I can do a lot of good with Moira. Does it mean I am a good SUPPORT? No, because my Lucio is trash and when I play Zen I forget that I even have an ult (lol, really).
You need Lucio in your team? Well, too bad, because I canât play him.
I donât know PC, but on PS4 people are switching between roles all the time, many times during the match and it often wins a game when we finally synergize.
I really think that this is a bad decision. But, there are not a lot of players left (many accounts but not players) so they might be testing for future projects.

I donât mind playing the arcade mode, I just want it to be permanent.
Because your Moira Sr isnât the same as your Sombra Sr and switching within a match skews your real rank.
Itâs better to queue for support when your in the mood for it and actually get the SR your deserve for it.
You wonât need to worry about your team needing dps or tanks, because the people who you got queue with CHOOSE what they wanted instead of being forced into it, and theyâll be accurately ranked to fit those roles, so you know everyone is on the same playing field.
This is a great time to learn other supports/dps/even tanks cause at least you will be put in the rank you belong and it wonât ever effect the sr that you consider your main Sr.
Another update here, apparently loot boxes for undersubscribed roles. Enjoy your DPS Moiras and Roadhogs kids.

They can think of getting a new game if its too long honestly. There are other games out there, though I am worried about my queue times. Its already long as it is. Any more player bleed out and its screwed here in asia.
