Does anyone hate it when you enter a deathmatch in queue lobby and these 2 things happen:
-
the lobby is filled with people but they’re all AFK and haven’t chosen heroes so you’re essentially alone…
-
people choose to be “friendly” and it’s not deathmatch anymore. (Seriously if you don’t want to fight there are skirmish and chill lobbies for exactly that)

I was once told to kiss myself because I outflanked, outplayed and inside-outed a Widow player as Juno.
Just play FFA if you want dm. A lot of players want to chill in between matches and look at something less boring than finding match screen.

I am, the problem is people aren’t playing. They’re in the FFA DM lobby and are just not playing along, or gang up on you if you disturb their emote parties.
Then they should go to the other modes I mentioned.

I don’t care what people do in DM while in queue. Maybe we make a tower standing on each others heads.

Then they should do it in skirmish or other custom games. No need to bring that into the DM lobby.

No, this mode is dead because blizzard is forcing me into the worst server.
I mean, DM in queue people come and go every 20 seconds
that, thats the problem, and its sad. Why are you in teaming in DM? go somewhere else and waste everyones time.

The point of DM in queue is to screw around and wave hi to people. Do people actually try to play the game in it?

You said in queue. I meant the FFA mode under unranked, or Arcade FFA.
Weird thing to be irate over

It didn’t seem to happen before, but lately I’ve seen it too. I played DM in queue and this LW just waved and crouched. I waved him back but… weird dude. Why don’t he just play Skirmish then? It’s more goofy. I rarely visited DM because it was always intense and sometimes even sweaty.
Skirmish maps are too big, nothing is ever going on. DM maps are tiny and you see more silliness or have more reliable practice if you want

Lmao its literally not even a game mode… its just a place to kill time in between matches. If it was actually in a DM thats different but in this Who cares what they do. Its bad enough how much people sweatbin QP and arcade but now this is just sad.

you’re in the dm queue for what, maybe 30 seconds to 7 minutes for a normal role queue game? this is such a non issue, what’s really going on buddy?

honestly… its the queue deathmatch, people are just clicking one of the modes and chillin out
sometimes they will kill and sometimes they wont
i just pick hammond and sit about or duel people if they want to spar or are being mean/toxic
i think u just gotta chill out and learn to have a little fun, cuz its not a serious game mode, its not competitive, and nowhere does it say that not killing people is forbidden, especially when its used in queue and not as an actual match
you can always open up the aim training lab in queue and shoot people for free, same for any of the other custom games that say “tryhard ffa” etc
all the stock modes for waiting in queue are silly and plenty of people just pick them to kill time instead of staring at a menu for 10 minutes, so you are expecting too much

I dont really see why so many people are badgering OP on this one. I dont think it’s unreasonable that people should be participating in the modes they choose to play. It shouldnt really matter that its during a queue or not.
It kind of ruins the FFA experience for people who want to play when everyone just sits around waving and not participating. If you’d like to do that there’s plenty of 24/7 chill custom games, why not do those instead?

imo the problem is that a lot of players are likely casuals and it is way faster and easier to just press one of the buttons below, especially when only one person in the group says “lets go to dm or something,” and also the modes are separate from the modes you can Q for so the expectation is much lower since some people wont even be there for a whole minute
im trying to be neutral about it but honestly “tryhard ffa” is a much better experience if you want to actually duel players
