I don’t know how you play a character so bland and boring it honestly feels like you’re playing a spectator character watching others play the whole game.
Everytime I’m forced to play a mercy I just stand still behind a corner and hold rightclick occasionally changing to left click and occasionally flying or moving to a better position.
Alot of the time I feel like I can just stand still behind an angle and pocket someone this is in high rating btw.
So which streamer or YouTube personality complained about Mercy this time? This is like the third thread that’s popped up in about what a few hours?
I’m not complaining about Mercy, I’m talking about the players who can play such a boring character.
I’d rather watch other people play on youtube than play mercy thats how dejected and spectatorish she feels from the game.

I’ve been here since the OLD forums. And have stuck around since then. I’m barely even to the level of some people here who’s been here just as long as I have.
Yeah I mean its definetly a me problem, I actually feel like I have to have some impact in a game and feel like I have to be doing something other than standing still watching my teamates pop off.

Thats why I’m saying I don’t get how these players can have fun from doing such a boring thing like it genuinely suprises me shes one of the most popular characters.
I mean even rein seems kind of boring in comparison to other tanks hold left click hold right click charge occasionally but atleast his playing the game so I can somewhat understand.

To sum it up basically, sometimes ashe and soldier will beg and flame you in VC every so often but pocket isn’t quite as needed for them so I will genuinely forgo playing such a boring character for soldier and ashe.
So play Ana/Bap/Zen/now Illari and take them out.

GA and the techs are are what makes Mercy fun and a bit challenging.
Granted yes she has gotten a bit boring since OW2 by making some of her techs easier, but it’s still fun zipping around all over the map…even if I do die constantly cause I tunnel vision.
I don’t play mercy, but I feel the same way about widow/hanzo. I don’t understand how people can play something so boring. You just stand there, peek a corner and click your mouse. It’s insane how boring it is.

If you don’t play mercy with pharah you’re throwing extremely hard, you can maybe slightly get away with zen in some very niche situations.
Honestly I agree, you’ve got to be some sicko in the head to play widow, but still shes playing the game so I can see how shes more fun than mercy still.
No you’re not throwing at all by playing impactful heroes that you have experience on.
You’re absolutely throwing when you swap to a hero you hate and barely play.
Literally anyone can play mercy if you cant play mercy you shouldn’t be playing competitive.
