i dont think its a forum thing, its a general balance thing in overwatch. Or a lot of games outside blizzard come to think of it.
Hero does average -> people request buffs -> gets buffed -> other people hates it -> gets nerfed to be even worse than before -> hero is left to rot for months until they get a slight buff that makes em average again -> not touched for months -> repeat.
This whole nerf is literally #SaveHog all over again, im not surprised but im disapointed it had to happen again and what led to this nerf is because the team put him back in the very same direction all the past buffs/nerfs were trying to keep him AWAY from.
Hog was fine, I donāt understand why they felt the need to buff him in the first place. Now heās worse than what he was before. Gosh, thanks for nothing Blizz. 10/10 balancing job.
He may be statistically worse than before but dont forget that barriers were nerfed when he was buffed as well. He may still have a space in the meta but only time will tell.
Because on high ranks hook=bubble=no kill. Tanks just survive and waiting kills. Usually can be hooked and died after hook only zarya and only if your zarya save you from hook/sleep. Roadhog just will take bubble and run with self heal
But snipers cant be blocked.
Idk maybe your enemy zarya just dont try block hoks with bubble and thats why roadhog better winā¦ who knows
The first big Hog nerf was because people whined enough though.
Even Jeff confirmed they solely nerfed him for that reason.
Meanwhile broken but popular heroes are Immune to nerfs (Widow, Tracer, Genji etcā¦)

Even though I play quite a bit of Hog, I found the damage buffs stupid in the first place and Iād rather have gone the 1/3/2 route with more team utility.
Wait whatās wrong with the shotgun spread patternā¦ I thought I was sposed to make it more consistent to reliably kill someone like ana/Sombra when hooked
