Tldr: you can increase the ults damage by double by simply moving your camera off and back onto a locked on target. And it will double every time you do that

Welcome to the world of long running video games.
Were the people who actually built the game are long gone, and the new people have to learn and the old ruins of a mad wizard. That’s almost it’s own language in it’s own right.
Like their is a million and one ways to write a program, and very few people are going to approach something this complex in the same way.
What seems to be happening is the damage you were going to do to a hero is being stored when you move your cursor off screen.
which is an issue as the old way seems to have cleared the damage of an off screen hero and add it back to the hero once the cursor is back on screen.
but the two together kind of just adds damage to the stored value every time you move on and off the hero.

If this was a Symmetra or Mei bug, they would be disabled for weeks.
Watch Blizzard canonize the bug because the hitscan brigade called it skillful.

For those who didnt watch the whole video, this scaling bug only works after deadeye has accumulated 200 damage on a single target… so you cant just flick your camera around and insta kill a squishy or anything… it only applies to tanks.

Oh it’s even worse than that too. I have countless cases where he just doesnt shoot people. Or it’ll have a skull on someone and do barely half their HP in damage, or dont have a skull at all and get a kill (no its not a big target being hit by two shots).
It’s totally broken in so many ways.
