Could they fire all the Devs right now? (OW2 Dead?)

Or that time may be added to their days off now that you have mentioned it (which probably already is)

It’s milked and dry studio, it would be better of disbanding the studios, then outsourcing the ips.

Coming from Sweden it’s really messed up to hear these things. Unions are such a natural and integrated part of our worklife, and essential part of keeping some balance in power between workers and employers.

Really hope workers in America can unionize more and get decent wages and working conditions.

Don’t be absurd. Blizzard Entertainment is so valuable to the company that it’s literally half of their name. There’s a reason they’re not called Activision-King.

Unfortunately, the US political establishment (aided by the media) have waged war against unions for decades. Hopefully things change for the better soon.

Cause Blizzard was valuable when they merged, right now Blizzard has nothing substantial to offer than a dwindling wow.

Every other ip of Blizzard is straight up in Lfs.

At this point all you have is a bunch of headless angry mob for devs.

Most of the key figures of Blizzard success have gone off.

Activision would be better of disbanding Blizzard.

Literally just take the ips and start from scratch or outsource it.

Your being absurd with blind loyalty to Blizzard.

If anything Activision is the studio that got the raw end of the deal of being fooled by false pretentious promise from Blizzard.

edit update to what’s going on: Activision-Blzzard-King Employees are planning to strike - General Discussion - Overwatch Forums (blizzard.com)

"I’ve seen some isolated mentions of this, but not a single coherent thread so here goes.

Recently, an ABK subsidiary laid off 30% of their QA with no good reason:

while upper management is sending out letters to try and scare people out of unionization:

and stories of stolen breast milk are going around:

It seems they’ve reached the breaking point and ABetterABK is organizing an indefinite strike- this is not a 1 day walkout.

Corporate is cutting off their salary so they’re raising funds; won’t link that here but it’s not hard to search that out if you’re interested. Beyond that, if you’ve any inclination to boycott, now would be a good time to think about it- this is going to shape the future of the industry."
