Not much to say, there’s a bug on console where the menu moves infinitely. It scrolls repeatedly down/up/left/right. This doesn’t directly effect game-play but can prevent you from playing the game-mode you want. It is not a controller bug i’ve confirmed after buying a new controller so i can play games with my brother and testing it out. From what i can gather its caused by the “dead zone”. Essentially the joystick is slightly going in one direction after being used, this apparently always happens after use. The overwatch menu has such a high sensitivity that it takes this slight mis-direction and goes that way. If it is as simple as lowering the main menu sensitivity to fix this problem please do. Its annoying i cant play Competitive just because some strange bug. To Re-Iterate. Menu scrolls infinity in random direction due to something to do with the software. Please Fix.
Bump! I have the same problem. Countless other people have it since 2017. I tough this was a polished game… yet we have a simple bug plagin consoles and no one cares… Definitely not spending my money on more loot boxes.
It doesn’t effect the gameplay in anyway what so ever. But i end up with my friends shouting at me to start the game and im in some minigame where i have to guess when to click x. Ive learnt how to deal with it. (Just use the d-pad and sometimes it works) As long as it doesn’t effect the hero select screen.
I am experiencing the same problem months after this was reported. It’s annoying as one can spend several seconds trying to select the game mode they want.

I thought it was just me. Sometimes my menus moves down forever until I touch the left stick. This is overall PS4 software issue. No matter how many controllers you buy, it’ll have this problem. Some suggestions I’ve seen is turning off all Bluetooth items nearby or taking the control apart.
Up until now THEY don’t fix this problem, I’ve bought another controller i thought it’s a hardware error, but its on the game issue.

Me too I have to same problem since a update was out. They need to fix it.
experiencing this since release of the game and they never fixed it this also ruins your sensitivity settings when you are in that menu! (PS4)

i have also the exact same issue … its definitely high sensitivity issue and can be fixed easily by an update
btw it’s so sad they dont care … if you google, you’ll find out this issue was present since the launch , sssso many players suffer from it and still they don’t care
I also have the same issue but affects character selection as well but is a struggle just picking. Please fix
What a bunch of babies! I kinda like it. I can totally relate because I have a hard time grocery shopping and after circling the same isles a few times I always get it done eventually but I would mind not having to deal with it. Sigh…
bumping because I bought your game again after the cd blasted my system’s tray, and I also bought a new controller long ago. This issue hasn’t been fixed in the time I was gone and I’m not even surprised.

I’m having the same issue for months on Xbox One. We can barely control the menu, it’s basically luck. Please fix this, Blizzard 
I’ve never had this issue until now. I just reinstalled it onto my new ps4. Even using the stick won’t stop it. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, blizzard fix this!!
