This has happened to me a few times now. I was playing the game with no issues, Internet speed 50+ mbps. No lag that I could detect, system itself not having connection issues. I just lost the ability to control my hero, this latest time made me walk off of the map. This has also made me receive a 2 minute suspension on playing multiple times because it forces me out of the match.
This only seems to happen when playing Mystery Heroes. (Didn’t happen before the Torbjorn DDoS thing started happening in some matches.) Hoping this is something I can find a fix for or that gets fixed.
I have had the same issue with it starting on the 22nd June. Within that time span I tried every possible networking fix you can find online and even went as far to replacement my router with it still not solving the issue. The only things I haven’t tried is either using a VPN or Factory resetting my PC.
I tried to put in a ticket a while back near July I think and blizzard just came back with it being a me issue even though it happens on their game alone.
Okay. This sounds like it’s related to however people are DDoSing the servers. I’ve been seeing videos of hackers using Torbjorn to do this. Hopefully it’s something that’ll be fixed with the season update
I honestly would hope it’s that but with my situation I have been disconnecting every single game without a torb in sight. I’m pretty convinced it’s something to do with the season 11 drop since that was on June 20th with the forum popping up on the 21st
my connection issues started last sunday D:
i could go hours with normal ping then suddenly my game spikes to 300ms! for 5-40 seconds. few times during matches. i just want to play the game again!
