You thought Blizzard was increasing the points you’d receive per match, they actually decreased it and called it a “buff” to the system.
Before, you earned 25 points per match.
Now you gain 10 points per match.
You need to play 30 matches to gain +100 points.
If you won 30 matches in the old system, it would result in 25 x 30 = 750 points.
Now it results in 10 x 30 + 100 = 400 points.
We are receiving -350, this is as 87.5% nerf in the system. Considering that, players that didn’t had all of the golden weapons, now need to work harder to get them + Jade Weapons. When even Blizzard announced that this System would make it easir to get them. So, how is it easier to get them now?

its not that bad
30 wins are 300 + 300 (you get 100 with every 10 wins) = 600
what hurts more is that the season end rewards are gone
you stop earning 100 as bonus after some points received. Then you get only 10 points per win, without “bonus” earnable.
you do? didn’t know that - well if that is so it truly is a strange change - do you know after how many wins the bonus stops?
edit: maybe its a bug
everything is possible nowadays
could not find, but they did , because you would earn 100 bonus even when losing, so they said that people played bad on purpose and farmed points.
Where did you get 87.5% from a reduction of 750 to 400? That’s less than a 50% reduction.
Not sure if I filled it, then it flipped, but my bar has been sitting at 0/0 for weeks. I didn’t pay attention early on.
thx for clarifying buddy!
