Arabian countries are well within their rights to ban a morally questionable decision. You have the right to be gay. Doesnāt make it a morally good decision in the eyes of their and other religions. I am not taking sides so donāt take this as bashing a choice. People have the right to be happy and be with who they love but then so do countries have the right to stand on their moral beliefs. Fair is fair.

People used the Bible to try to justify slavery as being āmoral.ā Every Abrahamic religion(and most religions in general) has been used to justify sexist beliefs and practices. There are some parts of those books that outright need to be ignored to be compatible with modern society, and for most people, they are ignored.
Not when those moral beliefs mean subjugating others.
I think itās quite hilarious to say that certain ideas are above criticism because theyāve been practiced for āxā amount of time. Iāll leave you to think of the logical endpoints and what that can be used to justify.
