Please remove borderless window mode to combat cheating. Amount of trigger bots and just blatant pixel hpbar aimbots is absurd master/low gm/ mid gm is flooded with them. every 1-2 games at least 1.
No thank you. I like to do things on both my monitors without Overwatch being minimized every time.

No, I switched to borderless window mode after an experience with Overwatch crashing in fullscreen would cause it to softlock my PC. Borderless Window means I’m not softlocked. I’m not going to pull the plug on my PC every time a crash causes me to softlock because bad players are making hackusations.

Cheaters are everywhere in this game. Even in low platinum.
Face it, humans are awful, awful creatures. Anything that’s fun, has to be ruined.

Why should i face it when u can just remove borderless window and 99% of cheats stop working? Blizzard can detect all memory cheats only pixel (screenshot) color detect bots work.
You should get that problem checked out instead of avoiding it. The extra input delay makes borderless less enjoyable to me imo. If you’d like, I could help you with your problem.
How would you know this? Did you make the cheats? Have you used them? How do you know they won’t just keep on working anyways?
The problem is already solved, the input delay isn’t even noticable with my hardware, I keep it in borderless in case the problem ever arises again.
Sorry, but where is this information that cheats are tied to borderless windowed mode?
And exactly how would that be any different from regular windowed mode?

I was multiple top100 player s1-s5 world cup captain of poland in 2016 I have 20 year exp. in gaming im 32year old. I have red alot about them its very very easy to find cheat forums on google alone spaning from 40$ to 250$ per month every one of them is based on tracking color of red outline of heroes or hpbar that pops when u shoot someone. More expensive ones are no hpbar they lock on to nameplates so they aim before the hpbar shows. They make multiple screenshots during match and its only possible with borderless window mode non of this works with fullscreen. Trigerbots i dont really know how they work but prolly simmilar to nohpbar aimbots and they aim for the nameplates but they are so common for window/hanzo its getting pretty sad.

Cheaters in low plat xd how would they be low plat if theyre cheating? I think your just salty.

Well it wouldnt be needed if they would just remove borderless window mode even for 2-3 weeks. Less work for blizzard hack team so they could focus on other parts of the game.
But at what cost does it impact our community. Please understand, Blizzard actively researches and develops in-game tools to detect and identify such software and it is far better to report to them using that e-mail any knowledge you have about such software. This way everyone in the community can enjoy the game to its best potential.
All these hackusations, someone got a kill on me, must be cheating. Every game at every rank people are cheating!

Your idea isn’t as good as you think it will be.
They will find another way to cheat. If they couldn’t do this there wouldn’t be any hackers because of anticheat. Also what’s stopping you from taking a screenshot in full screen? Your other program just runs in the background still doing whatever it’s doing correct?
Because it screws over streamers and stattrackers for a tiny chance at stopping hypothetical cheaters.
