I’m starting to question how many actual cheaters there are in the game. And starting to doubt forum posts like this. Reason being every once in a while I get “reported” for aimbotting or hacking when I’m on widow or tracer, which I’m maybe average at. 3 people complained in mystery heroes the other day when I got widow and got a lucky streak of flickshots.
I’m starting to think these people complaining in forums about cheaters just don’t know what actual cheating looks like.
Tbh I’ve only seen 4 or 5 blatant cheaters in my games since beta.
Did you know that probably bellow the 3% of borderless windowed mode users cheat?
The literally only way I can play the game with enough frames to be useful to my team is through borderless window 640x480 res. Removing the option would remove my personal ability to play the game until I can afford to upgrade which will never happen until I get employed.
But oh so many companies loves free labor force(feels good to work fulltime and get zero benefits aside from a single lunch hour per day that doesn’t stack).
I bought the game and I can most certainly now play it. Are you telling me that you want to infringe MY right as a customer who legally acquired a copy through a legitimate purchase by quite literally remove my ability to play the game.

Before I upgraded by system I had problems with fullscreen mode causing drops in frame rate, and my sister still gets jittering issues when she uses fullscreen on her system. It’s useful.
If you see cheaters, report them. Anybody caught cheating gets permabanned lol
That’s not the only negative.
- Breaks certain hardware configurations from different computers, where borderless windowed is the only thing stopping the game from completely softlocking itself
- Hurts single monitor streamers, who need a fast alt+tab
- Breaks stat tracking services that require onscreen recordings in order to machine learn
