Yeah, there’s absolutely no question you’re right about this. Pretty much half the people in any match have it installed and dialled up to whatever level they think they can get away with. Push them and you’ll soon watch them stood around don’t nothing to the side before suddenly going from 1 kill to 31.
They simply won’t change. They have no motivation to.
I think there’s way more cheaters than people think.
Cheat software has gotten very advanced and many are made to look as natural as possible, and they have toggles.
It’s very possible that Widow that just got that amazing shot on your Mercy, when they sucked the rest of the game, toggled on their cheats to do that and turned them back off again after.
Hey, hey, hey… get your own cheaters bub. It’s not my fault that you keep getting boring normy games with no cheater on the other team, but you can’t have mine. I worked too hard and too long to just be handing out enemy cheaters.
I actually don’t run into them that much either. I think I have been accused more times of cheating than I have ran into actual cheaters. Some players really like to throw the accusation around as a way of coping that they just got outplayed.
Long time ago I had an enemy Genji ult from across the map (around no one) dash towards me and still not even half way to me and ran at me in a dead on, straight line out in the wide open, as I shot him over and over until he died 10 feet from me. He accused me of cheating. Didn’t even consider how terrible of a play he was trying to make and how easy it would be for anyone to kill him without the need to cheat, he just didn’t like that he died.
Bro convinced himself, was saying how he was going to be laughing when I get permanently banned and how it would be an IP ban, so I wouldn’t be able to simply make a new account.

Literally 1 cheater in every 3rd game. Its insane…
Imagine getting banned more quickly for cussing at absolutely nothing but it can take weeks to months to detect and ban a cheater.
Blizzard seriously has some messed up priorities.

They know they have that issue but dont know how to solve it. They try to ignore it instead, thats why they dont respond to us in any way. Not even in a DEV-talk, its sad…very sad. Blizzard, you did good in the past but the way you treat customers now is very bad.
