So why does a sticky grenade have auto-tracking on it? Not even tracer’s pulse bomb as auto-tracking on it.

Presumably to try and make it an anti-hypermobility character ability.

I personally would rather have and deal with flashbang than an auto-tracking sticky grenade

So cass keeps his role as anti flanker, the difference now being that tracer and reaper can just avoid the damage.
But I think it’s a bit dumb that it does just slightly less than a headshot for how easy it is to hit.

Theres much more counterplay to a sticky bomb than flashbang ever had so they had to make it easy to land. Dont forget though its easily countered by abilities like Reaper’s Wraith, Moira fade, Bap Lamp, Zarya Bubble, Tracer recall, Torb overload, Mei Cryofreeze. FB on the other hand had a hitbox the size of Jupiter which was way too cheap to get value out of and once it landed on you it was GG.

As genji you can deflect grenade more often and with tracer you will never die to the grenade as long as you have recall same with sombra and teleport.

Its alot weaker against flankers but maybe somewhat stronger against non flankers? At further ranges perhaps? Idk.

I think to appease the lower skill bracket players that cant use his gun well, terrible design in general imo, id change it when they get the chance, after the nerfs on the 25th.

Mag nade is so much more powerful for getting kills more easily and with less effort.

Flashbang + hs was not enough to kill. It required a follow-up shot on top of landing the headshot.
Flashbang + fan the hammer required a full barrel and close enough range to avoid RNG of missing shots. Many times this meant walking towards a person or rolling towards them. Meaning for an easy kil Cass had to use bang, roll, and stuck into a 1.5sec reload animation afterwards while being closer to the enemy team usually.

Now, it is possible to land one body shot, mag nade someone and know you secured a kill.

stun was actually harder to hit, ngl

it’s called magnetic grenade. And the tracking is acting up, or even detrimental at times.
You could stun a deflecting Genji with the right angle. But this thing? You have to wait.

What do you think that Cassidy should require skill or something? Lol

Tracer sticky one shots, cass nade doesn’t. I think the ability is fine, its on a very long cool down.

That’s the funniest thing really is that Cassidy just gets an ABILITY that is better than Tracer’s ULT… every few seconds. Lol. It shows you how much Blizzard considered balance for this game. Let’s just give Cass a auto-tracking 130 damage or whatever it is. It’s really funny.

Meanwhile Tracer - with ULT - doesn’t get any tracking on that pulse bomb. Also, Ashe’s dynamite doesn’t get auto tracking. Needs to be placed and surgically shot.

Cass’s grenade is super low skill and improperly balance for what it does, how often it is available, and considering what other heroes have.

Fix your stuff Blizz.

P.S. - 5v5 still sucks.
