Am I the only one who thinks it’s obvious that they’re just trying to get rid of stats altogether? They got rid of levels so it’s only natural to assume they’ll just butcher it even more. They’ll play dumb saying they’re working on it when they clearly aren’t until they announce some big update to change the game again in some way that makes stats inadequate. They already said that they wanted to make the game into something like Destiny (Which is just small brain thinking lol, I mean why not just make a separate game?) They’re cocky because no matter what they put out people are gonna make them money.
I knew this must be it. We’re seeing the PC role queue stats on console. It’s just rendering the stat menu with a PC bias regardless of platform. This is likely because it’s cross play now and you can have different rankings on PC role Q and console role Q.
Still no comp stats from my Xbox matches played. Only seeing stats from a few PC games I played.
I cannot believe we’re almost at season’s end, 9 weeks into the game’s lifespan, and Blizzard still haven’t acknowledged this is an issue let alone giving us an ETA on a fix.
It’s statistics. It worked for years with no issues in Overwatch. Surely it cannot be that difficult an issue to resolve!
It shows the right games won and rankings depending on whether you’re playing on PC or console; it’s just not showing the console stats on console.
My stats haven’t updated at all since ow2 started. Please fix.
Still having this issue as well, very unfortunate considering this was reported on October 6th, and the issue hasn’t been addressed or even acknowledged by the development or support teams
Issue:
- The hero stats in my Career Profile (Overview and Statistics tabs) have not updated once since the game’s launch.
- Both tabs state I have played 0 games and doesn’t record any hero stats, claiming the time played is 0.
- The Overview tab in Career Profile does, however, show my rank for each role, however, it states I have 0 games won for the current competitive season.
- The only console I play on is a PS5, however, the issue still exists on other consoles I have logged in on
I have attempted the following solutions which have failed:
- Merging my accounts within the game at launch (Merge was successful however stats still do not show)
- Logging in on a different PS5
- Logging in on a PC
- Logging in on an Xbox Series S
- Using the PS4 version of the game
- Restarting the game
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
I am a still showing no recorded stats for any heroes or games on PS5. Very unfortunate that this issue was initially reported on October 6th, yet there is still no response from the development or support team.

Blizzards lack of response to this is concerning. They honestly dont give a damn. Actions speak louder than words and it’s very clear their only priorities are gaining new players at the expense of burning their longterm players. Wouldnt keep your fingers crossed on this one bud
Hey Blizzard, so a player has hrs and stats from console, hours stats from PC… from there you do something called ADDITION AND MATH… how has there been NO COMMUNICATION about your efforts in resolving this? For half a dozen players i have NEGATIVE losses
Xbox Series X player here.
I have “placed” in role Q for each role and that does show up on my career profile. Each one was set to Gold III and has not moved up or down despite dozens of matches played (after having “placed”) with the majority of those matches being wins.
On my Career Profile and Statistics pages I have no stats to speak of whatsoever for the season. Everything is a 0 for time played, wins, losses, etc. for the entire competitive season.
It doesn’t matter what I’ve tried or how many matches I’ve played, my Career Profile & Statistics will not update to reflect anything, let alone how I’ve performed this season.
This is still an issue and a likely factor in why I’ll play other games and not touch Overwatch 2 until 2023 or at least until there has been a demonstration of stability across the “live service”.
Time to enjoy Paladins in its place I guess? At least their ranking system is functional and provides for a competitive experience.
All other friends I know on an Xbox seem to have their Career Profiles & Statistics updating even if not with the most accurate information. They are also able to gain or lose rank. They also merged their OW1 accounts just as I did.
Not sure what determines how this bug takes effect or why my situation is different from some other console players.
This many weeks (or months) after the problem has been reported and still no sign of a solution or any communication from Blizzard regarding this serious and ongoing issue. Only a reference to a similar issue and supposed patch which has not fixed the problem.
Mine is still broken too. It records stats from open queue but nothing from role queue. Total hours played doesn’t go up at all. I’ve lost rank on a positive win adjustment and gained on a negative, I’ve even had an adjustment from a rank I wasn’t even at to begin with.
This is definitely effecting gameplay too you can see it clear as day in the messed up ranking. 200hrs in its still regularly roll or get rolled. If you can’t gauge a players skill and match them with similar players after 200hrs of data then your system is not fit for purpose.
Not for me. Show 0 games played, 0 won, etc. But does show my rank.
Still having the same issues everyone noted here.
It’s also the opposite. My first comp game in OW2 was on console with my other console friend even though PC is my main way to play. Ever since that, none of my PC stats will update and I’ve put in at least 100+ hours in comp so far on PC. Logged on to my PS4 to test it and it records new data from those comp games. Seems like whatever system you used first to play comp is the one it locks your stats on.
I had the same problem and so far still no fix, not sure if they are going to drop fixing this
Since it doesn’t seem to affect rankings or the battle pass tiers, I don’t think it’s an urgent fix for them.
Mine is the same, only records wins/losses from open queue and nothing in hours is actually recorded.
It does not affect ranking with me, however. I think the stats still exist, they’re just not shown, as all of the data that affects role queue or open queue and affects challenges, is properly registering there for me.
I’m still having this issue. When the game dropped and I merged my accounts, it tracked my 732 hours of gameplay. Now it says 303, and my hero playtime are completely screwed leaving my top 3 inaccurate.

I feel your pain mate. I had similar stats loss. Lets hope blizzard acknowledge this soon.
Patch is there and I logged in today on PC to check if they added the Nintendo Switch Stats from season 1 and merged them with the PC stats for the ranked season and… well NOTHING…
