Can't join the game/freezing

Nearly 1 year later, and this is still not resolved.
I have the exactly same problem

Game freeze upon "Entering Game" - COMP!

Problem: when queuing up for comp, just as the game finds a match and everyone joins the game, it shows “Entering Game” banner for me on screen, but freezes at this point. Game does not load and I can not ESCAPE out, or do anything Only way to close the game is ALT-F4 I am playing comp and keep losing points and getting banned because of this! It is really frustrating. Occurrence: every 8-10 games Period: Only since the new season never had this before Things done to fix but without succes…
