They should just go to r/MercyMains at this point.
They’re focusing so hard here where nobody wants to see or hear it.
It’s rough having a bunch of people in a single place not knowing what to do so instead of doing something logical, they pull a “victory screech” from spongebob and just shout nonsense or the same phrase repeatedly until what they want is completed.

They don’t care. If you even mention Mercy or allude towards her, they come in waves.
You can’t fight it. There’s not enough people to fight it.
I honestly wish that Blizzard would start pushing out punishments for this. For the past month, this forum has been nothing but Mercy Mercy Mercy. We’ve hardly had other discussions at this point.
It’s tiring. No wonder the devs haven’t responded. They’re acting like children and pulling the “Beg and cry until it’s yours” technique.
These forums are a joke. Moderation isn’t helping very much either.

The devs don’t listen. Not a single blue thread on Mercy, and the forums have been spammed with mercy threads since the rework was announced. I’m sick of it.
Well talk about biased. Let Mercy be by herself, but everyone else is allowed to be together…You do segregation is a problem right?

You’re right it, wouldn’t be a 100% solution.
If I am being honest, you talk about discussion and you say people want their ideas criticized, but I find that to be incredibly untrue. When it comes to a majority of these forums, any opinion of dissent is met with vitriol and opinions and feelings are presented as undeniable fact. I’d even go far as to say it already comes off as a hive mind.
Discussion? No. People just want to argue with other people when the reality is, most people already have their opinion and their opinion is not going to change.
I’m asking because I don’t know how to mute threads in the first place, genius.
More like I appreciate criticism as long as it isn’t the same stuff that I’ve already sifted and responded through.
I feel as thought this was more of a thing when down votes existed.

Well you can’t do nothing about that. My point being, people who do genuinely want to discuss are going to be alienated by the fact that they are forced to start a discussion/debate in a place where everyone agrees with them. It’s, more or less, a hindrance and defeats the purpose of a community forums.
i mean its simple logic
something is broken > people complain about broken thing > fix broken thing > people stop complaining

Not to sound like a smart aleck but I just seen the burst of Mercy Mercy Mercy threads after her most recent nerf.
Before that it was Hanzo Hanzo Hanzo.
Before that it was Symm Symm Symm.
Then Hanzo Hanzo Hanzo again before that.
And before that it was Brigitte Brigitte Brigitte.
I mean…the official megathead is in a locked loop. The unofficial megathread can’t be pinned.
I mean if you want to complain about all the Mercy threads then sure, okay. But she’s not the only only that gets spammed.

Under the scroll bar to the right side there is a thread status indicator (graphically it’s a bell, eyeball, paw, or eyeball with a line through it). Change the status to Muted and you will never see the thread again nor receive notifications, even if you are replied to, quoted, etc. I don’t even think it comes up in searches for you after it’s muted. I think there has to be a reply before you can mute a thread though.
I barely see those in comparison to the Mercy posts.
we just need an option to hide all the posts with mercy in the title
She may not be the only thing that gets spammed, but when it comes down to it, she’s been spammed for a lot longer than any of those other examples. Even when the mega was active, every few minutes you’d see another thread about Mercy that would quickly be locked and moved to the mega.
This went on for about a year.
