I’m tired of every discussion being about console or Gold+ ranks. What about the Bronzies? The casuals?
I waited 1 minute last game to play dps but that doesn’t matter does it? It’s always about Ranks and how you guys suffer so.

The issues around bronze is largely not balance bound. But even so, If you want more bronze focus, write your ideas . Idk what to tell you

Yeah I got a complaint. Can we PLEASE do something about the smurfing problem down there? The low population makes it insufferable.
I spend half my time reporting deranking groups in LFG and smurfs on both mine and the other team, I swear.
I hear it all the time in voice when I try to get in a group to try and climb: “I have another account in Diamond” “just pocket me I’ll carry you” “this is my alt my main is in plat” and on and on and on.
Let the people who are garbage actually play people who are also garbage so they can FAIRLY climb their way to the top of the bronze landfill, not because some smurf carried them up there. I don’t like feeling useless because someone else does all the work.

Omg that one minute comment was meant for another thread. I’m not complaining about one minute. I’m saying to all those that are complaining about dps queue times that it’s not an issue for Bronze.
Alot of issues high ranks have don’t really affect Bronzies and vice versa.

Another example would be Moira. She does little damage in higher ranks but is absolutely cleaning up in kills in Bronze. Is that fair? Do I have to play comp and climb out of Bronze to solve the problem?

There also isnt that much of the playerbase that is bronze. Sure there is even less at the top, which people talk about a lot. But thats where there is a high understanding and level of the game many people aspire to be able to reach. And where balance matters more due to people being able to get way more value out of aspects of each hero.

According to overbuff this week anyways, moira does 2k more dmg in gm than bronze, and has 5 more elims per game. Id assume less final blows in gm than bronze, but cant see that.
I highly doubt that. If this was like ANY other game the most casual level has the most players. They just don’t post. Don’t want to see stupid charts either.
Moira is a busted hero in every rank, if you don’t catch up with streamers or the pro scene I’m letting you know that she’s meta from plat/diamond to gm to t500 to pro level.
She really needs hard nerfs.
It has been a while since blizz gave numbers on what % of the playerbase was each rank. But when they did bronze was like 8%, and gold and plat together over 50%. Went and found it, looks like it was from 1.5 yrs ago, dont see why much would have changed tho.
She’s still a problem in GM. Not a great example anymore.
So that’s comp. Maybe QP had and has more players than comp?
Unfortunately, it kind of is a cesspool of complaints already…

You said bronze. Bronze is a rank in this game that comes from comp, not qp. But sure, there could be more unranked players who belong in a rank like bronze, but then that applies for other ranks too. Either way, bronze is not a big % of the playerbase.
You thought most of the game was that bad, that they were mostly bronze, NAH…
8% Bronze. 21% Silver. 32% Gold. 25% Plat.
Bronze is irrelevant and only playing better or with a personal duo queue of your favorite teammate that works well together will rise you up to Silver.
I don’t play much comp but with Sigma I was climbing last Season.
