Same thing is happening to me on PS5. If I invite a friend, or am invited, and I accept the invite, nothing happens. This started after the last patch. So adding my post here in hopes that Blizzard will notice this problem and fix it soon.

Same here…click join group then nothing. …ps5 and ps4…urgent very high priority fix required pls!!!

Same here on PS4 @ PS5 went to join group and nothing. Hoping immediate fix is made to newest update. First thought it was a cross compatibility issue, but it looks as though it’s an on-going issue for all. Please fix Blizzard!!

The same problem. My friend is from PS5 and me on PS4 doesn’t work. But i can invite him from my PC perfectly. Is from the last patch.

It’s been 2 days now since this bug has happened, has anyone even noticed? This issue hasn’t been officially addressed anywhere so I guess the devs don’t care about it :upside_down_face:

Yep, glitched since the latest patch, i’m on PS5 and my friend is on the PS4, we are doing the stay as a team workaround in either mistery heroes or no limits, it works but it takes time, sometimes people dont leave, this problem is urgent and needs a fix ASAP, i bet if it was on PC, this would be fixed so fast no one would even notice the problem in first place.

Yuuuuup. Exact same issue here. The one thing i enjoy most is being able to play long distance with my bro. Sigh.

Right?? thats what ive been saying! If this was PC they’d be on it SO fast because big creators would actually be making a fuss. But since its not, they don’t care. So much for any quality of life in the game.:upside_down_face:

Same problem wit ps5 and ps4, how we dit it is the one who has the ps5 erease the game and download the ps4 version of the game.

Same problem here. My friend and l were able to load into the practice range together ny using “Join Game”, but we if we sent an invite and the other accepted, nothing happened.

Same , it send the invitation but every time I try and join nothing happens. It is very frustrating when all I wanna do is play, I hope this gets fixed soon.

So I’m on ps4 and my friend is on ps5, he sends me an invite to the game im able to accept it but it won’t let me join it takes me back to overwatch but doesn’t show I join. Then I try to send him an invite and the same thing happens on his end. But when I have other people in my lobby that has ps4’s he’s able to now accept the invite and join me. Same as if I just had a pc player in my lobby, my friend on ps5 was able to join.

I am also having this issue with the PS4 to PS5 not being able to join a game session only on overwatch2. This is something that me and my boyfriend like to do together and while the game is fine just solo, it’s not as enjoyable now that I can’t join a game with my boyfriend or friends.

Yeah same here. Seems like a pretty common problem. I guess we wait to see how long it takes to fix it.
