mercy has another toy to play with. well on the bright side maybe a lot of hanzos will go soldier instead… still it will probably be soldier/hanzo in every match for mid tiers

Nope, if I wanted to keep playing now, I’d play Hanzo out of spite just to hunt down 76 players.

200 more health on any Rein that knows what they are doing is kinda big.

Rein isn’t over all hard to play, so buffing his shield only makes it live around .5 to 1 second longer.
Sure 1 second can be massive in OW, but this entire patch is a dumpsterfire.

The heck is wrong with this team. He is now same place where he was in beginning on beta 1. Were people said he is op and they nerfed him and now they buffed him?.
This game is like OW1 in all the wrong place. Arrrgh.

I thought people on here think soldier as one of the most ‘fun to play against’ hero? Nothing wrong with him being meta then.

The decision to sit out all s5 is looking better and better.
Rip Console t500, gonna be 76 all day erryday.
I will say, Zen change is probably the best case option, but 76 and Soj did not need buffing. And Symm’s is just an oof. Lose a bare min of 15dps, up to 45dps to gain a solid 10 on the slow bubble blaster.
We could use highly specific and accurate prediction of future patch notes to root out time travelers if they keep being this random with them.

The mid season patch is literally trying to take some of the previous flames and put them somewhere else there is less fire in hopes that it all burns out faster.
buff soldier don’t nerf mercy? interesting welp instead of nerfing the actuall issue with flying heros buff soldier and throw mercy on him and everyone suffers

Overall this game has become a f-ing joke, and no one should keep playing it to prove a point that you cannot ignore your player base and expect good things to happen.

Now I know that Overbuff is not the most reliable source of info…
but he is the most picked from bronze to plat
then dropping off to 2nd most picked in diamond, 3rd in masters and 5th in GM…
I guess they want to make it even and push him to most picked across more ranks.
By destroying lower ranks, yay they are balancing around top again… Sigh.
That’s the thing though 2nd in Diamond, 3rd in Masters and 5th in GM, with solid winrates all around… they aren’t even buffing around top at this point, they are just throwing buff and nerf darts at random characters
Theres a difference between forcing a hero to be meta and being fun to play against.
Everything that Blizz did is a joke at this point.
Looking at his pickrate, he already was meta across most ranks…
I don’t mind the meta shaking up a little tbh. Because even when a hero that is weak in low elo being meta, people still complained, so this change sounded fine.
