Bastion in his current state is mostly useless around plat and other ranks , being preety much dependant on being shielded by an teammate + even tho hes a “tank buster” hes countered heavily by Roadhog,Pharah,Junkrat,Hanzo(from a long distance)Ana,Reaper,Sym without the fact that he also gets focused by most teams when hes seen , maybe give bastion an escape ability that makes him go extremly fast out of turret mode and push himself 5-10 meters backwards ? or the option to be able to shoot some projectiles like Dva’s shield and more accuracy or damage

But he still is a tank buster, and the counters for Bastion are there for good reason. Bastion is a niche hero that should NOT be viable in every situation. While I personally hate having Bastions on my team because they’re so one dimensional, they are strong in chokes (almost every map) and you almost always have to change team composition to beat the Bastion/Orisa/Rein bunker.

Niche hero is niche. Does what he’s supposed to do and no more. Balanced character. If you’re unhappy that you’re losing a lot with him, maybe learn to play less niche characters. Soldier has a similar aiming style and can take similar positioning. Try that.

If you’re running bastion without a shield, that’s your own fault. He is a niche hero that needs a shield, a tight choke point and the right team composition picked around him.

Bastion is literally strong in any situation that you’re defending a choke point (his niche). If you’re running a niche hero outside of his intended spot in the meta, that’s your own fault and you should find something more viable.

Picking Tracer means Bastion works nowhere but Junkertown. She can easily avoid chokes and just has a “delete Bastion” button. Genji does this too as he can easily avoid a choke and just bounces on your head the whole time.
Even a Bastion with a choke doesn’t work as soon as they pick one of those two heroes.

Bastion dies too easily. Soldier 76 and DVA can 1 vs 1 him easily, which is retarded. His health is too low and he doesn’t have enough armor for a stationary character.
His ultimate makes him too vulnerable and the aoe on his rockets is laughably bad. You literately need a direct shot to kill someone.
If I buffed him I’d let him heal while shooting at the same time because why the hell not he sucks and he could use a buff desperately. I’d also convert more of his health into armor and bump him up to 400 health.

Bastion is extremly stationary , Sym can use her balls that deal 100-150 damage and keep spamming them on bastion forcing him to move and making him useless

Bastion needs a buff to recon mode. In order to make him more balanced he needs to be much more viable outside of his sentry mode.
