I’ve now ranked up 3 times in Support this season, 2 of those times with a decent record (5-3, 5-1). Each time, my rank stays at B5 and says “You are ranked higher than 71% of players in this division”. If the percentage isn’t changing, this means that my SR isn’t changing, which can’t be right. I had a great K/D and healing in each game (better than I’ve ever played before TBH). This isn’t a localized issue to just myself- other people in my comp lobbies have reported the same thing.
UPDATE 4/26: I’m FREE!!! Ranked up in support again after the new patch yesterday, and I’m finally out of B5. Not sure if they quick fixed it with the patch or what. If you were struggling with the 71% bug before the update yesterday and haven’t played comp since, try it again to see if it changed for you too.
Update 4/28: LOLLLL. Went right back down to B5 after a 5-3 run. Now have ranked up twice with 5-2 each time and stuck at B5 98% in division. I hate it here

SAME. now i thought, okay maybe it’s just me. but i asked a few other bronze 5 players, and theirs says the same thing. “71%”. definitely looks like a bug

I’m experiencing the same thing. I wonder why it’s happening. How can I rank higher than 71% of B5 but still be in B5. On support I went down to B3 but I climbed back to silver which I was at before OW2. It seems the ranking system when they were doing it has gotten completely messed up.

Same here, 2 times completed the 5 win , first 5win 3 lose, then 5win 2 lose, around 10k dmg / match and 10-13 heals, tonns of assists and kills. Both times 71% blabla. With dmg and tank i dont expreience this thing.

I have the same problem. I have played over 90 games in the last 7 days, won more than half of them. I play support exclusively and have much better stats than in Season 3 when I was silver and can’t get out of Bronze 5 this season.
We are a team of 5, play exclusively together, all have moved up and are now so high that I can no longer play with them. I wrote to the GM’s and got a reply that there is no known error, so apparently they don’t read the posts here. A second GM told me the same thing.

Me too! I know I’m in Bronze but as a Support I won 5 games and 2 losses. I go the 71% screen as well. Weird!
Based on reading the other thread. Maybe the match is being counted but NOT the wins? So the more matches you play the more you derank possibly?
I think this is causing many higher ranked players to be stuck with us true Bronzes because I’m noticing much better mechanics than me at times.

same for me but i have 88% better than other player like i won 45 games and i m stuck bronze 5. i want to die guys

I’ve experienced the same issue, have ranked up multiple times with positive W-L on supp and dps and it said the same thing

I have the same 71% bug, on support in bronze 5 (despite being gold 3 in other roles) and going 5-2 ish each rerank doesnt change the 71%.

same here, support said the devs will get to it at some point but they dont see any activity as of now, and they cant fix this on their end so basically too bad enjoy bronze for now. feel like its going to last all season

OMG! Mine is exactly the same B5 and ranked higher than 71%. I have had 3 5 wins: 5-1, 5-3, 5-2 and all say the same. This is on my other acct. Please fix. ty.

Exact same thing happened to me just minutes ago, that’s how I ended up here. Just went 5-0 with wins as bronze 5 in damage and my rank stayed the same and got the 71% thing. Kinda sad lol. Would they even go back and fix it all and adjust our ranks, or if they fix the bug would we have to win the games all over again?

Hi, apparently I can’t post the same body for a similar bug report, but I am responding to a similar bug report. Hopefully this first separation of the comment will allow me to post the same thing.
I’m running into the same issue. I’ve filled the Tank tracker for games at something around a 2:1 - 3:1 average win:loss ratio. I’d say I’ve played through 5 to 6 full trackers, so like 30-50 games including losses. I keep “ranking up” from bronze 5 to bronze 5. I don’t know if it’s relevant, but I didn’t play ranked at all from the last half year to year of OW1 until a few months into OW2.

I have also the same issue - winning games, 80%+ better than the rest of the players in this rank, stats with which I’ve been easily in Plat with before, no stuck in Bronze 5

Same here, I am stuck in bronze 5, every time I get 5 wins, I get sent to the start of bronze 5. It’s happened 4 times at least and I have videoed 2 of the times it happened. The last time I had 5 wins and 2 losses and 91%… I was still sent to bronze 5. Why!? This game have never worked like this. If this is how it is supposed to work, blizzard needs to better explain to us what “level adjustment” means. What affects it? It’s clearly not the win loss ratio that affects it unless you need to get 5 wins in a row. If that is the case then tell us!!

Same bug for me 4 rounds with no change, this is a bug on server side.
