Yet again, not the players fault. If most people don’t know how to play a video game but know how to play other games, then that’s a design problem.

I reckon Brig’s usage will go up quite soon. High ranks tend to emulate OWL after some time, and Brig has seen frequent usage there (she never really left in APAC ladder).

Right now, because rush became meta during the off-season. Now that OWL’s back, the meta in ranked will eventually start to mirror what OWL does when their meta soldifies. Right now teams are doing all sorts of things, from rush to poke to double bubble.

Ok, that make sense so my next question is why do we care what they play in owl which is played nothing like how 99.99% of the playerbase experience the game.

You don’t have to care about what goes on in OWL, it was just pointing out about how Brig can be good in the right circumstances.

Third best support in OWL? Sure. But remember that OWL, with the level of coordination they have, is a different game from Overwatch ladder. So she’ll probably be a little worse even in GM.

It’s why I consider OWL something different from Overwatch entirely.

But you wouldn’t lower the basketball hoop just so that toddlers can dunk. That’s why balancing around the highest level of play is important. You should want to aspire to get better so that you can dunk.

QP matters as much as comp. Personally, it matters even more because I don’t play comp.

I’m not saying brig is weak and that OWL should be ignored. But it’s hard to think that sombra is complete trash in ladder but its all fine because in OWL she is meta.

We should split this comparison 50/50, Ranked is not ever gonna be what Overwatch league is. We should not blindly balance according to what OWL does

I hate Brig only cause she is hell for genji. Nice consept, but put her as a frontliner
