I have seen this police move very often, also on white ppl.
Then there is a problem in the methods police hold down suspects that have a violent gun history
Sorry to hear about your bad experiences OP. But you shouldn’t take away something that others enjoy just because one person went out of their way to give you a hard time. Also the sort of things you described outside of the game don’t typically happen outside of the US and it isn’t fair to take from them just because you feel slighted.

Racism is to be expected, and shunned. Yes we should be compassionate to everyone around us and thats a noble goal however it isn’t feasible.
You just did the exact same thing by claiming that “police are not racist”. There are absolutely racist police officers
At a basic level, racism, discrimination and just dis-taste in general will never be gone.
There will always be white people that hate blacks
There will always be black people that hate whites
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not defending it by any means. But I can’t really see it going away.

Thank you guys for all the love and support <3. Obviously there are some racists, trolls and people who really need to check their privilege in this topic. But my suggestion is to ignore these people. They add nothing to the bigger picture how racist people are using the D.va and Brigitte skins just to ‘‘hunt’’ black characters in Overwatch.
I will tell you all my experience with the police. Someone (a white person btw) stole a car and me and my friend where arrested. My friend was white and he was just casually arrested while I was pushed to the ground hardcore with my face on the concrete. Since I carry a bodycam 24/7 on the streets (I did this after my first unfair encounter with the police. I was almost sentenced to jail) I was able to prove my innocence and the police officers where fired. Justice prevailed I thought…
Hahaha of course not. 3 months later I saw the same duo of cops roaming the street. They saw me and they followed me. I suspect they wanted to wait until I walked in a alleyway or something so they could shoot me in the head as ‘‘revenge’’. I had to hide in the bathroom until they went away which toke like 3 hours (my friend was checking for me).
Even tough this was not my only bad experience with the police. It was surly my worst experience of the racist police in the US. If I don’t count the bad experiences during BLM protests I think I had like 5 bad encounters with the police. The police are racist in the US period and there is nothing to excuse this.
And if this is happening in America, it happens everywhere in the world. The US is the most developed country in the world, yet even we do have racist cops. So this means this is happening everywhere in the world. BLM is a global movement to stop racism against blacks.
But that’s the 'Murican way of thinking.

A. African
B. Designed/Rebuilt by an African girl
C. While being a protector bot, I don’t think robot centaurs conjures any real life analogies that could be considered insensitive
D. Afaik her accent sounds faithfully like an African woman.
So for those reasons she gets a pass. She has a voice line that says ‘Cease your resistance’ which imo is a reference to The Borg from Star Trek more than a police thing.

This. Racism is a condition of the heart. Removing the skin doesn’t suddenly change the condition of those hearts who find such behavior (as OP’s post) funny.
That said, out of respect, I have not used Riot Brig since this all started to occur. But that doesn’t mean that the work of devs and design team should be trashed because some edgelord kids think they’re getting a laugh. Believe me, without the skin they’ll find some other way.
Work on the disease, not the symptoms.

Though I doubt they’d straight up remove them. They’d more than likely heavily alter them, unless they want to replace them with completely new skins. Which I’m here for.
