This is the kind of statement that makes things worse. This is implying that all police are racist, and to be fair, racist can be applied to any skin color.

No. D.va and Brig having police skins have nothing to do with a bad people doing doing bad things that abuse their power as a police.
If you don’t want people to be judged for having a label, then don’t do the same thing. The world isn’t black and white.

To be fair, not all cops are racist but enough are that it’s a problem.
I don’t know about the ‘enough are’ statement either.
If you looked at the statistics, I’d argue that there is no real systemic racism in law enforcement, but again, there are bad apples that get exposed.
Just because people don’t agree with what police need to do to defend themselves and others, it isn’t some desk job where you have no real fear of being harmed.
Can you imagine going to work and wondering if you would make it home everyday?

The problem with this situation is not the skin - it’s the player.
I understand that police may be a trigger for you as an individual however projecting this trauma onto an unrelated aspect of the game won’t solve the issue - because if someone wants to be racist then they WILL be racist.
Id also understand your point if the police were being over-glorified with the Brig and DVA skin - however they are not. They’re simply skins that give little effects such as lights.
As for your point regarding Brig being a riot cop - regardless of what skin she wears - she is beating people with her mace - it doesn’t matter what skin she wears and to correlate her play style to one singular skin that she got isn’t okay because it sets a very wrong narrative.
Personally, I think that in general, only your teammates should be able to see skins whereas the enemy appears as if they were wearing the default skins lol

I think more people are wanting REACTIVE policing vs pro-active policing these days it sounds like. Which with the way things are now these days. I guess I dont blame people anymore.

It would be nice if officers can no longer ask me “where are you headed to” if I am STOPPED by inspection officers. Since they always seam to be trying to “investigate a crime”. Despite the only thing I am hauling is a farming payload.
I do agree that weigh stations though, should be SHUT down and officers should be at least allowed to do random WEIGHT checks on trucks, since many people DO over-haul and it busts up the asphault and cement roads! With that being the ONLY thing they are allowed.
We still do NEED duty officers to respond to traffic accidents, since fire and rescue cannot take accident reports. As well as supporting officers for countering robberies and violent situations.

No, but he’d still be a bad cop. There have actually been studies that show the pervasive racism in police departments can make people racist against their own race! Yes, really.
The policing is bad in general but it’s also racist, and there’s racism apart from the policing. They are both problems but the intersection of them is worse than either alone.

This is getting ridiculous.
First of all, this is a video game. Stop shoving your political agenda down people throat.
Secondly, while I agree police brutally is an issue, allianating and antagonizing the police force is not the answer. 
You’ll have to forgive me if I take your claim with a grain of salt, then, because an unsubstantiated claim about a purported study on the interwebs doesn’t really an argument make. I’ve found nothing on Google about it.
It was a study on implicit racism in police departments. It was at least five years ago. I just can’t remember when or where I saw it.
This is so american… because something in their system sucks it means that it sucks for everything.
If your police is bad, it’s not because they are bad by default.
Maybe it has something to do that they work in an environment where every child has access to firearms?
