His Harmony orb is the most powerful ability in the game? Because an ult is not what I am talking about with most powerful ability.

Cooldown based ability not tied to your ult bar is what I mean.

Seems very situational on expecting the enemy to mess up. The only time I can see it prevent damage is for something like a D.Va bomb that people can’t get away from but Mei can wall it off too or any shield can prevent it. There are a lot of abilities that prevent damage but there is only one that reverses death.

User will only get a damage buff if the enemy damages it. While it is great if you can get people to damage it or bait it you can also counter it entirely by just not shooting it. However if I remember correctly Discord Orb and Mercy’s Damage Boost all give more damage. However there is only one ability that can reverse death.

yep there is only one ability which can reserve death, but the risks are too high
standing still for 2 seconds is risky, unless Zarya gives you bubble shield

that is why I say it is the most powerfull ability
because it cannot reserve dath, but prevent it

also 8 second cooldown or 30 second cooldown ? :face_with_monocle:

Or you are behind a Rein shield, Orisa shield, inside a Winston bubble, ect.

It’s only risky if you use it poorly just like a Zarya bubble. However the Res can only fail if you get stunned or killed. Stunning the Mercy in the back line using Res is not a common thing to happen as your stun characters are generally not flanking.

If you don’t stop Mercy and don’t shoot her you have to kill someone you previously killed before. If you don’t stop Zarya or shoot her/her ally bubbled she gains nothing from that.

Mercy’s requires you to stop it while Zarya’s does not.

Who would be stupid enough to run past the Rein shield and face the gunfire of the entire team just to MAYBE kill the mercy? Hell you most likely won’t even have time to walk past the shield before the Res goes off.
