The system can tell when 3rd party softwares are in use, They can also tell if a leaver is due to dc or if it was on purpose!

Those are the tiers, which reset if you don’t leave a game for several matches
Remove the SR penalty, make it a 3 strike system, no tier resets. 2 season bans = permaban.
Then you should not be queuing for comp. The devs have said exactly this.
If your internet is not reliable, do not play comp mode. If you do, you get banned. Simple. If you don’t care about ruining the games for 11 other people every time you queue, you get punished.
Have some self awareness, play other modes, or forfeit the right to complain when you get banned.
While i agree with you in 95% of your post, this is 100% false. You cannot tell the difference between a deliberate and accidental disconnection (confirmed by MANY people with IT backgrounds, as well as blizzard themselves). That is why they are punished the same.

“Level 4” by actual punishments is an 8 hour ban. There is no 48 hour ban. 24 hours, then season long.

Backfill alone is not enough, neither are punishments. You need both, but people argue neither work so this is the best we are going to get
Bro i know , trust me . i have bad internet . if i disconeect right now i get a 50sr lose & a 25min first attempt ban . i used to get those 5min then 10 the 30min . but now its different.
Sorry, this is, again, incorrect. You are seeing bans 5-10 minutes after they occur AND repeating tiers when they fall off (as noted above)

That’s it. You can repeat tiers if you don’t leave after several games. If it takes you 5 to 10 minutes to get logged back into the game after a disconnect, that is why you would see a “5 minute” or “25 minute” ban. You are seeing the remaining time from the suspension amount.
2 season bans in a row gets you a permanent ban from comp.

Thing is the solution to leavers already exists in other game modes - backfill.
Why Blizzard won’t add it to Competitive (with a few tweaks to make it a better fit) is unconscionable, especially since they’re actually leaving teams to be 1 or more players down in what’s meant to be fair and balanced matches.

There is nothing that exists in the IT world that can differentiate between an intentional or an accidental disconnect.
Power goes out, internet goes down, ethernet cord deliberately unplugged, power cable pulled. There is no way to tell the difference whatsoever
This has been confirmed time and again by both blizzard and IT professionals in the player base

I never had a disconnect just my game crashed few times during the Nvidia bug few years ago, 100% blizzard fault. I still think it’s not fair to give harsh penalties for just 1 or to unintentional disconnects.
You dont get harsh penalties for one disconnect and there is no way to tell the difference between an intentional leave or an accidental one
