I only saw the one… kinda funny tbh as they were clearly just having a bit of fun. I do think it’s a little weird as it’s out of character to deny him that quickly. I think maybe those videos may hunt at a future Relationship. I’d be really funny in OW2 if she has a voice line asking him out and he says no.

No chances of becoming canon - Pharmercy, McHanzo, and Mekamechanic. Actually has a chance of becoming canon - Baptiste and Mercy. He’s sexy, smart, funny, charming, also a combat medic, I see no downsides to Immortal Angel.
Definitely that really sleek one in the Oasis Gardens spawn.
I totally agree with the other ships listed not ever being canon but Mercy X Baptiste has more of a chance but still low. As someone said mercy and genji were confirmed and tbh most of the community wanted it so it’s probably never going to change. The thing is that maybe Sombra X Baptiste would work better if not another healer.
Eh it’s a stretch to say that most of the community wants Genji Mercy when it’s not the most popular ship with either of those characters, but you’re right that the writers are not likely to change course at this point. I don’t ship Baptiste with Sombra (yet) and like someone mentioned earlier his relationship with Mauga is too toxic, but depending on what happens with Mauga’s character down the line I might start shipping it. Don’t really see Bap with anybody else atm.

maybe not the most popular but the best. PharahMercy is stupid as it was created just because of the combo and doesn’t even have a creative name. Idk know the most popular genji ship… Genji X Zen? Tbh it’s weird as Zen is Genji’s mentor… almost like a parent seeing as genji’s parents were part of a criminal clan and bad influences.

One would think Genji is far too old for parenting, he’s not a schookid. Zen is not patronising like that and he’s not a school teacher either. Point of his mentorship is to “not make him turn a new leaf” but accept himself and his body as he is now, as he happens to be dysphoric over his cybernetic parts. Genji was never into the yakuza business anyway. Oh and Zen is 15 years younger than Genji.
Though your stance is fairly ironic, seeing as mentoring is like parenting so shipping them is weird but doctor and patient relationship is completely cool.
I’m not here for shipping wars though. Biggest ship by far in OW community is McHanzo, hands down. Used to be Soldier76, till Mccree and Hanzo got some interactions during Halloween 2016 or 2017 and it hit off with the east meets west theme and hot guy x hot guy. Mccree remains as the most popular male character in ow. =p

Ok so lemme just explain myself. When I say “best” I was saying as in it cooperated with lore and makes a little more sense rather than other ships. I was not saying that my idea is superior to all others, I was just trying to say it makes a little more sense rather than hero’s with nothing in common.
So tbh I get your point of the mentor ship but even then it still feels awkward as doctors dating their patients is very frowned upon similar to teachers dating their students. It gets a bit weird when you bring a relationship into a work environment. I understand that it is more of a friendship as zen was the one who gave Genji his body and healed him from close to death. Tbh it feels a bit awkward as it can be seen from any point of view, My point of view is a bit more on the parent side because Zen seems like he cares for Genji but in another way. Their relationship seems to be a bit more just friendly than anything else is all I’m saying.
Tbh I think McHanzo is so weird as their personalities are so different. Hanzo seems like the person that wants a bit more order and Mcree is the one who like sthe trouble and goes with the flow. Tbh I don’t understand it at all but people ship a lot so it’s kinda hard to avoid.
Hmm, I like McMercy, Sombra/Hana, Genji/Lucio, and of course, the purest, cutest couple Ana/Reinhardt.
