Yeah i was gonna say this isnt a new thing most BPs go the way of the dodo after the season ends in most games that have them so this started before overwatch did it.
If you dont have time to complete a BP then dont buy it. If you are too busy with work then buy the levels. If neither are good solutions then play a different game or suck it up. Are you middle class or something?
Halo infinite doesnt. And thats the last game i remember having a battle pass system. Ive never played any of those games you listed (except ow of course) so i suppose i dont have much experience with this sort of thing at all.
to the investors its just a number, they dont care if people watch it or not, as long as the numbers look good.
