funny how when bastion get a little bit too much playtime he get an hotfix nerf immediatly but whenever a fan favorite hero is meta it take MONTHS to nerf them…

Bastion is far more oppressive than any other hero in the game. The armor on top of the absurd damage he deals makes playing tank an even more miserable experience than it currently is. Its why he gets nerfed so fast.

It wasn’t even that fast. He is dominating for almost full season now. Less than 3 weeks of the season left.

True, there was a time in Ow1 where bastion was meta for like 3 days lol. Thats how fast this hero can become meta, the second he gets a buff, he spikes like crazy.

Because their way of balancing is: “Oh, this DPS hero is not being picked enough compared to some other DPS heroes, let’s give him 5 buffs at once.”
And this is not how balancing works. No one wants Bastion to be hard meta like this and especially not in 5v5 with a single Tank.

Exactly, nothin worse than a hero getting 4 to 8 buffs in one patch just because of their usage. They pulled that same Bs with soldier 76 and he was actually doing fine before all those buffs. I was literally winning games in GM before he got his buffs because of how forgiving he normally is. Now its just braindead easy to play him

Also when less popular heros had game breaking bugs(Mei, Bastion, Torb aslo I believe? at OW2 release) they are completely removed from playability for up to a week(or was it 2 weeks for Bastion?) Yet when the fan favorites have had game breaking bugs, they sometimes arent even removed before they get fixed.
Also, Bastion isn’t meta atm because he is good. Hes meta because this playerbase would rather whine to get heros they don’t like nerfed instead of learning his counters for once in their life. And because they buffed Zarya like idiots who massively enables him. Hes not hard to counter, nor is he hard meta, you all just suck.

We must be playing two different games then, because a lot of times when the enemy runs a Bastion, the entire team puts him on a pedestal to keep him alive while he shreds my team.
Yeah sure, on his own he’s nothing all that impressive, dodge LoS while he fills the ground, the concrete, and windows with a billion bullets, poke him when he runs out of time.
But when an entire enemy team basically gives him the President treatment? Forget about it, you’re better off just leaving the game.

So, to recap, is all that he has now just the aoe fall off damage buff?
And the faster ultimate targetting, wich is decent at best.
Ashe, Soldier, Tracer, Hanzo and Widow resuming as normal then
