If Bastion were directly nerfed, He would see a negative playtime.

Bastion was extremely fun though at the time i gladly welcomed getting rid of the shield for 360 degrees of movement, but not at the cost of range, now we have arguably the worst iteration so far.

ok after watching the Dva short again, ive coem to realise that Meka and the propaganda arm of the Korean army reminds me seriously of baron von richthofen and small degree Romel, both were brilliant military commanders but also heavily promoted for the Homefront.
I am using some of the more famous names but Patton was another.

Now thats something.
Give Bastion heat-seeking rockets as an E ability.
Let bastion transform into a stealth bomber on E.
Dont let the tanks live for too long.
Why stop there? Armour and shield penetrating rounds should do the trick.
Why be a pseudo barrier buster if you can just shoot straight through them?

Ive actually fired a rotary cannon with Hi-ex rounds back in the day. things got interesting fast. in remote tests the barrel temps actually cooked off the explosives exploding the test bed platform.
As such maybe placing E as limited time use of unique rounds (High explosive is only an example.) might be a workable idea for Bastion.
Love the early 80ās every crazy experiment was triedā¦
