Because they haven’t listened to us and every time they do something they want it’s horrible. No offense to blizz, but it’s true. They changed recon in a way we wanted, it’s perfect, they changed healing the way we wanted, it’s perfect, then they made a gigantic change to sentry that gave him a broken passive and ruined his damage. Nobody asked for it and that’s where the rework failed.

And i still wonder to this day, Why They even thought sentry needed to be Touched.

The Mercy rework eventually succeeded, but it took a long time to balance her. A long, long time…

The Hanzo rework worked a bit too well, and they are trying to fix this.

The Symmetra rework was a huge success, she may not be balanced at the moment, but at least she is in a state where they can balance her without breaking bronze/silver, which was the goal.

The D.va rework went well, she needed a few nerfs but it did it’s job

The Roadhog rework should have all come at once, but besides that it’s great

The Sombra rework has been interesting, they seem a bit to afraid to just go for a straight up buff, and it’s not helping

The Bastion rework was a complete failure

The Reaper rework was pretty good, but he still isn’t in a great spot

Also the creator of the thread considered a lot of things to be rework, so some of these might not seem like a true rework to you.

Every single rework so far has been a disaster, and for some unknown reason you’re saying that this one will not be a disaster, why? I’m saying that if they want to fix him they should mostly revert him.

I’m saying a rework is almost inevitable. I don’t think they would be willing to go with a Sentry revert. I would love a revert, I would favor that over Tank on E, but I highly doubt they would do that. If they are willing to, I would love to be wrong in this regard. If they are going the rework route though, this is what I personally would want, and giving them exactly what I (and a few others) want on a golden platter seems like a good way to persuade the rework in Bastion’s favor.

And I am willing to sacrifice ironclad, extra ammo and reloading speed, all just for the old spread and headshots, just as they were before. I’m not willing to sacrifice the moving while healing or the transform speed though, those are way too precious.

No I’m saying it will probably be filled, to my knowledge everyone has every slot used (maybe not RMB but I can’t think of anyone right now who doesn’t have one) and the idea of tank on E is already out there so it sounds a little bit likely he might get one and it sounds likely it’s going to be that.

Remember when they were talking about some changes they tried with Torb? It was a mini molten core on E. Except they said they’re still in the super early changes so absolutely nothing is set in stone.

They’re a bit trigger happy with the ult and ability replacement rework. I wouldn’t be against it if it meant I could rocket jump without wasting my ult to do it out of combat.

I’m in the revert camp too but it’s more likely if they did a revert it’d be with a rework. Apparently they don’t like “taking a step back”. IMO they should just turn around and take a step back so they moved forwards

Pharah if you’re still here (and Chibi), if it’s not in the OP, that might also be a good thing to add. Something along the lines of “A partial revert would be optimal, but if a rework is inevitable, then this is an option”

Well then if it was inevitable that a rework would come instead of a revert, not because of the public parading for mini tankmode but just because Blizzard is… Well, Blizzard – then I have no reason to bash on you too much about the concept of reworking Bastion, but I still disagree with tank mode on E.
