💔 Bastion ISN’T being forgotten, he’s being ignored

When I say best designed, I mean that his in game model conveys his playstyle, simple raw dps. This also feeds into what he is like as a character, simple, neutral, with the capacity to kill.

Lots of heros convey their playstyle, without having a 1000 page essay of all their drawbacks. Bastion by no stretch of the imagination is a good design, let alone best.

Going from any basic perspective of Bastion’s kit, model, or character. One can often find parallels to the other characteristics.

Every character should have weaknesses that can be exploited, it’s up to the player OR the team to cover those weak points

The problem with that comes from the proportion between Bastion and other heros. Either they all have weaknesses, or reduce the global weaknesses for everyone.

I’m giving it till the end of Stage 1 of OWL,,,

Hear me out. I by no stretch of the means am an OWL fan nor esports fan (never watch a full contenders game, be it VOD or stream). I was intrigued last year when OWL did start, as I was a Dallas fan. After stage 1 I completely stopped watching OWL. I ducked in from time to time, but never ever was able to finish 1 map.
