300hp, a self heal, a minigun, can use a lightly less efficient weapon, has to in some way charge up their mini gun,
has anyone else realized this?

Yes. However, Heavy in TF2 can’t have a less effective weapon AND a self heal at the same time like Bastion can. Heavy can also shoot while moving, albeit slowly.
Finally, 300 HP in Overwatch is actually considerably less than 300 HP in TF2, since the two systems work a bit differently. Heavy can also go up to a nice fat 450 HP with overheal, which is about as tanky as Wrecking Ball.
That’s not even to mention Heavy’s melee perk options.
Overall, I think Heavy is a better, more survivable class than Bastion. But Bastion definitely beats him in raw damage output.
I prefer roadhog as heavy
roadhog being closer to heavy I agree works better in the context of hp in OW

yeah but concider the average hp in overwatch is 200 when in tf2 its 150. The TTK in tf2 is much faster so heavy having 300 is a whole lot more significant. (And heavy is also much more versatile)
I want to see all of bastion voice lines translated now

But medic isn’t being compared to heavy, bastion is! Medic is definitely better than Mercy though, because of birb.
