With Baptiste and Briggite, we got have supports who can have better tank abilities than some tanks themselves, directly or indirectly.
Baptiste and Briggite counter dive all on thier own without the help of tanks. Slow comps which should be weak to dive are immune to it thanks to Baptiste and Briggite. They gatekeep all chip damage dps with thier insane AOE heals combined with thier really powerful cooldowns, gatekeep literally every tank who tries engages hence promoting a poke play style.
For example,
Sigma by design is weak to dive with his only tool being accretion with fairly long cooldown, gets too sturdy with Baptiste and Brig who can effectively shut down a dive all on thier own.
Zenyatta isn’t as bad as the above two but he literally makes tanks paper thin, especially since every tank has been nerfed along with Shield which could keep discord at bay. Now zen can destroy tanks and thier shields really quickly and easily, since his projectiles are as bug as Junkrat nade or Ana’s healing shot (which is really easy to land). Discord, unlike Mercy, gives a team wide damage boost which basically means each person of the team will do 30% extra damage to the target, so if two,three or four people are shooting a discorded tank, they are taking 60%, 90%, or 120% more damage, and it’s not uncommon for tanks to be the centre of focus. Zenyatta is powercrept, he gained his volley and discord reversed with damage buffs.
Nerfing these three will open up for way more tanks and then we cam buff underperforming tanks and will also open the rigid support meta to more variety picks.
AOE heals (AND AOE DAMAGE afterwards) and Anti-Engage abilities need to GO. We need to go back to a meta where single target healing is dominant or AOE heals need drawbacks. Because right now why would you pick Ana when Baptiste and Brig heal more in AOE, why pick Moira (the only good designed AOE healer IMO, she trades utility for heals unlike our biggest offenders) who trades mass AOE healing for utility when Baptiste and Briggite do Mass AOE heals combined with way more utility, if not the best utility.

well this is obvious but for some reason tanks on this forum that are low ranked sigma fanboys act like dps took their toys or something
the supports are still insanely strong with their dps enabling abilities/sustain enabling ranged hitscan to not have any counters and very high consistent damage output
you tackle the supports down remove this ranged “come at me” defensive style with ball tracer being the only engagers and it will be a much better game

because low ranks are a whole different game
they complain about a rein when just shooting and focusing shield out of swing range is free sr
complain about genji when just going anyform of cc/sustain and things like sigma and ball are hard for him to farm blade off of and brig will deny him any kill on zen giving you a consistent nanoblade counter
while ignoring the ana sitting the back getting free abilities then complaining
so out of touch tbf

Yep, people blame too much on heroes keeping them stuck when its thier own inability to improve.

Zenyatta suddenly gets picked on for his ability that has existed since release and has been nerfed multiple times. Only slightly coming back up to 30% when he was total trash. Yet multiple ways to inhibit or outright delete Zenyatta have also been added since release.
This community is ridiculous.

Moira is a balanced support because of this, her advantage is AoE healing itself and the lack of other utility is her drawback.

Zenyatta has low healing and mobility outside of his ultimate but makes up for it with high potential damage output. With the recently lowered barrier uptime resulting in an overall faster pace of the game, we want to make sure Zenyatta still excels at his strengths. This change will make his charged attack flow a bit better in combat.

Just look at these patch notes. When Zenyatta originally had 30% discord his volley was slower and his damage was lower by a big margin but when they buffed him again recently they just outright buffed his discord and volley without reverting damage buffs. He is powercrept.

nah. healers need buffs IMO. just re fix the tanks. honestly. except ball ball needs less survivability lul. oh no…a zen buff? not where i had wanted it. honestly he shoudl heal atleast 2 ppl at a time. but honestly. leave zen and mercy alone they deserve better

Brigitte nerfs? Like… What? They’ve already hit her durability, her peel, her combo, her healing, and her sustain.

Careful what you say. There are those on the forums that would say Dive counters Brig, and that Brig is a weak hero. They will bring pitchforks!

No buffs or nerfs REWORK
And a ACTUAL rework.
Not raising her pack count 3 and increasing Inspire heal to 130 and the velocity on whipshot. That ain’t a rework
