Unfortunately all disconnections and game crashes counts as leaving the match and will be penalized appropriately. The game server has no way to discern a legitimate disconnection or game crash from one that is forcefully caused by a dishonest player to bypass leaver penalties. Remember if you see the message, “Lost Connection to the Server” in the title screen or the message “Failed to Connect to Server” in red text in the text chat box, this means there is something that disrupted your connection to the game server and not a problem with the game server itself. There can be a variety of reasons this happens including those that don’t disconnect your computer from the Internet. sorry about bad grammar
Im not talking about my connection but the sever’s connection ,it’s a major problem that everyone are having right now. This latency and loss connection because of the server , really troublesome . Many player leave while playing competitive match and cause frustrating among players including me . Not just lost connection , I cannot rejoin the match <I lost connection middle of the match and relog in just 30-60 sec so the match must be still ongoing> this also happen after the winter update . I thought blizzard fixed it , but it happen again .
I’ve seen the news about that technical issue , I wonder if there is any way to fix this problem more efficiency . Remember that sever’s connection >>> bug
About lost rank because of these problems there should be Something like lock comp while there is connection issue or reverse player’s comp point before 4-5 days after spotted there are problem with the server
