Servers are crashing currently stuck searching after almost finishing a comp game the entire lobby is stuck like this thank you Jeff

Yeah same here, Aus too. exact same thing happened, overwatch server crashed and everyone in the team got stuck on loading. Happened earlier too but everone just got kick in general across all games, i was in mystery and global chat was going nuts

Doing the same thing for me. NZ here and now i cant play the game keeps saying rejoin the game but i click it nothing happens the game chat still works though. Bloody Blizcon. everyone just like the post hopefully blizzard will reply soon.

Just got back on and im banned from the competitive round for a time and got a loss on my placement score -.-

2nd time a crash has given me a loss on my placement round for competitive.
Reply:going to make a twitter acount and i will do this too, i say everyone complain. hopefully they will roll back the server or something

What of we tweet on their page to get this to hurry up cause its been happening for the last 4-5 hours.

Same on xbox. Sever error at the beginning. 10secs countdown & game closed. Then I got suddenly -sr 56 penalty n 10 mins ban for leaving early game. Wtf.

same here lads but i got kicked from multiple games and ended up suspended :frowning:

I have had the same thing! the game was running and then everyone was booted to main menu, but we were all still in ā€˜matchā€™ chat, both teams lost 50 srā€¦

i used to think that my constant disconnects where because i was trying to play on the Asian servers. guess i was wrong though since the american servers log me in, put me in a game just fine then randomly begin oscilate between 150 and 700 ping half way through a match. i was dissapointed that i missed the last comp season but judging by how badly made overwatch is i think i dodged a bullet. how does adding nothing but cosmetic items for a year cause a problem with the avast file blocker AND kill the servers? its downright ridiculous. just in case someone ever actually reads these, no i wont go through 700 troubleshooting steps or send you crash reports. nobody else makes such a flaming mess of a product then unloads the work onto the consumer and i have better things to do.

well so its everone else as well, wtf is this rubbish game, i just brought this and now penalised for leaving LOL.

This game is dropping my internet out for a split second and then i get penalised.

its not your internet its the servers i think its cause of Blizzcon

Itā€™s absolutely the servers. Iā€™ve been dropped 3 times today from comp matches - usually at the side swap or when the POTG shows, and a few times on the menu, and have never had issues like this before. Each time Iā€™ve found myself unable to connect to battle.net both from my ISP and via a VPN in to work (on AARnet).

Each time Iā€™ve lost 50SR.

In the first instance, we had had already played 3 rounds on Horizon, we still had 4:30 to attack on our second attempt - I got dropped right as the teams switched sides. So I had at least 5:30 before the game would have finished unless we capped early (5v6 without me) - and yet by 4 minutes I was banned and unable to play comp anymore after trying for the last few minutes to reconnect, reconnect, restart ow, find I couldnā€™t connect to bnet either via iiNet or Aarnetā€¦ and yeah.

So this is pretty messed up.

This is definitely one of those times where people complaining of someone (eg, me) playing using crap internet doesnā€™t have an argument to go on.

The second time I got dropped was after Iā€™d seen the Victory screen, right as it was about to show the POTG.

I got a loss/penalty. After we had won.

Of course they can. They just choose not to. They make claims and excuses like ā€œwe canā€™tā€.

They can do whatever the hell they want to, itā€™s their system, they wrote it and the tools. Their claim that they ā€œcanā€™tā€ is mostly based on them chucking it in the ā€œtoo hard [to investigate]ā€ basket, and goes with them admitting their system has a problem, which destroys their integrity - so theyā€™d rather deny thereā€™s a problem.

We all know thereā€™s a problem.

It literally just did it again, right now - and yet here I am able to post to the forums. Iā€™m trying to reconnect right now - this is BS.

My household is having similar issues where we disconnect randomly during matches. Prior to today weā€™ve never had any connection issues to speak of. Weā€™re in NSW Australia.

I have been disconnected a total of 6 times (I didnā€™t get banned each time)

I can load every single other game/website/download/LITERALLY ANYTHING, but apparently blizzard is so technically inferior that even the support site has been telling me I canā€™t connect. Just got dropped from a ranked game for the 4th time, with the third time being a 2 hour suspension, and a game I reconnected to earlier, WITHIN 20 F****** SECONDS TOOK ME DOWN A COMMENDATION LEVEL. I wouldnt care if they reverted ALL SR changes from today, and I managed to climb back from the 160ish SR I lost from getting dcā€™ed, if they can at least say it wont happen again.
