Ashe recently got a cold hard nerf

She can no longer gain ult charge while Bob is alive as per recent Patch notes labeled as a “bug”.

Do hope that people remember that it was a bug that she could not gain her ultimate charge with Bob back in the day

It is a very massive nerf to the character with no other upside to keep her fighting against other characters who are subjectively stronger.

In a weird way, I like it. Because it puts a lot more pressure on reworking Widow and Hanzo.

In what way does it have anything to do with Widow or Hanzo?

Because Cassidy nerfs and Ashe nerfs are going to push up Widow and Hanzo’s already too-high pickrate.

Ideally high enough, that devs start taking action on Snipers after a whole year of doing hardly any direct changes to Snipers.

I don’t get why they remove Ashe’s ability to gain ult charge while Bob is active, but see it as no problem for Hanzo, torb, hamster… anyways

Justice for both Ashe and Cass. Butchered by blizzard incompetence, Ashe less than Cass, but even then…

meanwhile Hanzo untouched, and still able to provide walls for whole team and leap / peek while 1 shotting across the map

Well, I was thinking it will be horrible, but in fact, it doesn’t affected my gameplay

Still a nerf, but we have to remind that Ashe was not supposed to charge a new ult when Bob is active

They should make this change for the remaining heroes in the game that can gain ult charge while their ult is active.

Why should Ashe and a few other heroes have this benefit while most heroes cannot gain ult charge while their ult is active?

Ashe never really had a high pick rate. Always on the Medium

When they start turning dials. They get it wrong most of the time. When they “Overhaul” characters, thats when they ruin them. Often times they could have just turned the dials down some and everyone would be fine. :stuck_out_tongue:

As long as I have played blizzard games (since 2007) , they have a bad habbit of trying to completely change something, instead of just dialing something down a bit.

Changing timings is always their first resort and ruins muscle memory for players. Which is why many folks believe that they don’t even playtest their game.

What could be a simple dialing DOWN of damage value, they instead try and make butter out of sawdust.

and as for these forums and customer “feedback” my guess is, they print off our complaints. Throw them on a dart board at 50’ away and throw a dart and if something lands onto the board. Thats how they chose their actions. Eitherway. I dont know why they just flip things upside down all the time and miss the mark every time. But the Kaplan leak pretty much explains it is all about job security and making extra work for themselves while acomplishing minimal results.

The patch before she received a significant buff. Bob now attacks her target.

She’s one of the stronger dps. The best? No but she’s strong.

It’s so cute that you think overbuff stats, especially those considering QUICK PLAY and ALL RANKS, mean anything :skull::skull::skull: Hanzo is not even good.

I agree we should go for gm duoing ashe junk :smirk:

I agree you should OTP winston

I hope Hanzo gets a nerf soon. Best mobility, highest damage, can oneshot across the whole map, has a strong ult, that goes across the map and can go through walls. He also has a low cooldown Widow ult, and he doesn’t even need to reload, lol.

Bob needs to be immune to sleep.

But Omni

Poolside Ashe. Enough said. :weary:

But only one of us needs it :smirk:

It would be glorious.
We fix my positioning and believe.

How about Blizzard just stop making changes to heroes based on how often they’re picked, and do it based on the individual character’s abilities instead?

That would make to much sense
