Are we ever going to get another playable tank?

Like, anyone? Ever?

This balance sucks. I miss being able to play tanks and I miss not being at the total mercy of my tank players to pick the two viable tanks to have a chance against the other team. I miss going being able to get out of spawn before I knew if I would probably win or not.

I don’t care at this point, nerf Rein more or buff someone or put in a new main tank or anything. Just do something so it’s not Reinhardt or lose every single game!

Before obligatory Rein meta I tanked a fair amount.

The problem with obligatory Rein is that I hate playing him and can’t do it well anyway, so if I queue tank I’m 100% at the mercy of the other tank to pick him. And people are sick of playing him. I get a Rein less than 1/3 of the time I queue, and that’s despite locking Zarya immediately.

Mitrovarr, if I remember correctly, we’re roughly at the same rank. I can tell you from experience that Rein is not mandatory for us. I’ve personally ran Winston into Rein and won. I’ve even seen Road win as the solo tank.

Well, the team with the Rein has a pretty large advantage.

either:

  • buff the other tanks to reins level
  • add a bunch of new tanks
  • nerf rein + HEAVILY nerf burst damage (cause its no fun to get insta deleted when you play tank, and rein is the only tank that can actually hold his ground without dying in 2 seconds)
