so I’m hoping the pre patch data was aqua, and that we get to test him tuesday.

are you looking forward to him? what do you expect from him?

hopefully not focused on damage. I’m quite tired of supports being healing and supporting focused, only to get slowly and slowly turned into a 3rd (or 4th) dps. Lifeweaver as an example.

Also for gods sake we do NOT need another speed boost hero. Until Juno’s speed gets nerfed, its frustrating how much speed boost we have in the game. Bring back Lucio only speedboost !!!

I hope the devs have the creative imagination the first team had to make sure he has synergy with Mei.

Feels like ow 2 kinda strayed a little from teammate synergy.

Firstly bit early for a test. Seasons just started. New hero trials arent until after mid season

Secondly hero trials are on weekends not Tuesday

Well, unless I’m counting wrong, Tuesday is starting the 5th week of the season. So it’s likely the mid season patch.

Season started June 24th

Its only been 3 and a half weeks lol
We still got 5 and a half weeks to go.
Next season starts August 26th.

I wouldnt expect the new hero trial until at earliest first weekend of august 1-4th. Maybe even the weekend after

They usually drop it 2-3 weeks before the end of the season, usually a weekend or 2 after mid season has dropped

Nah, we need another villainous Support, the last one we got was Moira.

And also Kiriko, she’s a jerk to literally everyone including Venture and Lucio, she’s pure evil and should get the electric chair.

So what I said is correct Tuesday starts the 5th week. 4 full weeks would have passed, and the 5th starts. It’s a 9 week season.

Not saying I think the trial starts then, as like you said it’s been weekends. But it’s likely the mid season patch on Tuesday.

In fact im certain there has even been some chinese event scheduled for that weekend thats been promoting first look at aqua gameplay

Edit: Yeah. They have already announced that wuyangs trial is 1st of august after they are announcing his reveal at a special chinese event

If its a big patch, Wont this patch be another hero added to stadium?

Didnt they say a hero would be added halfway through each season?

Also would be neat to have him unkillable via water enviros. Let him swim in rialto. And die within 2 seconds swimming in the lava on samoa.

Random niche unique abilities make this game more interesting

Let me guess another DPS oriented Support who either has an immo ability or escape ability which prevents all form of damage
With another ability which manifest multiple projectiles that auto lock

Maybe it would be better to get down to the basics of what Supports typically come packed with.

  • Two healing abilities, one of them primary; one secondary or ultimate
  • One defensive/rescue ability or ultimate
  • One defensive mobility and/or damaging ability.
  • One offensive primary.

That should be enough to give some idea of what he’ll be included with.

EDIT: It would be really interesting if he had two offensive abilities in lieu of a secondary healing ability/ultimate… but not even Baptiste or Illari went that far.

No need to test anything.
He will be OP like any new character and people will complain about him for months becauser Blizzard won’t nerf him before OW3.
