Applying update

Hello,

Ive been banned for 8 hours due to the “Applying Update” bug. This is really getting out of hand. Loads in match & loading screen stays stuck on that message

And whats even worse is that on your appeals/banned FAQ, it states that you won’t appeal regardless the reason. I believe that should change since players, like me, can’t do anything about this bug. Is there some sort of unban that you can do? Or forgiveness towards progression?

Sitting at the same screen on PC. If and when I decide to force the game closed, I’ll get another loss and suspension (was joining a comp game when it occurred). This has happened multiple times, but I don’t recall it in any previous seasons. Bizarre that it seems to be cross-platform.

Yeah, other seasons were fine for me as well. This season… idk what happened. Now, its like every time I start Overwatch, grab a few buddies and go into comp I get that message. Then i’ll stay stuck on that screen and have to force close the app and reopen. Its just insane.

OW Community Manager finally responded today but didn’t say if there were going to be any reparations yet
