Anyone else who - just like me - lost all interest in Overwatch when they started forcing 222 in competitive and haven’t played since?
Do you think there’s a chance they will revert? I kind of miss Overwatch.

I play a lot less since 222 was added to the game and created multiple severe problems without solving anything I’d consider to be a problem
222 has made the game far less fun for me

I played two two two.sigma was the problem and orisa. Which is why I quit.
That being said. Two two two belongs in competitive. It improves the competitive experience.

The problem with 2-2-2 is we are unable to change with the flow of the match. Massive amounts of damage melting your tanks? Too bad, no triple tank to help the DPS.
Or recently, I had two leavers in a match, both tanks. We were screwed because we couldn’t switch to the tanks to cover. Blizzard doesn’t account for this stuff and it just causes more problems than solves them.

Like you would make it with tanks in 4v6 lol. It didnt matter really. There is no reason to change as you are playing for your role.

But I don’t play for my role. I’m playing to win. This entire role lock has ruined the game significantly. There are more leavers than ever, and if we’re ever to have a chance to win 5v6, we HAVE to be able to switch roles.

I still play mystery heroes. But I stopped playing seriously after the Symm 3.0 change that ruined my favorite character.
2-2-2 ruined playing dps for me cause I don’t like waiting for a game only to have it canceled or a leaver mid game.
Leavers by the way I think are a lot more frequent now than in the past before 2-2-2. It probably has to do with some people not caring about a particular divided SR so they just quit instead of trying something else to try and make it work when you get a bad team.

Maybe for you. I have had less leavers and if there is a leaver let players switch to the leavers role. That’s it. That simple.
Role q is fine. People just want to switch to dps when they get toxic and it was what ruined the game before. If role q leaves. There goes the true competitive player base. I’d play siege until project a because overwatch would be trash again.

Of course I play but the game always has been, and is still, casual.
I play less though because locking out dps was just not good all around.
I love role queue and I climbed because of it.

I think role queue upset dps players. But, for tank, and support, it has been a godsend.
I started playing a lot more wow, instead of ow.

Nope.
In fact, I started playing more again.
I’d all but stopped playing because I was sick of the 4+ DPS comps and sick of solo tanking.
222 saved the game for me.
They’ve confirmed that it’s here to stay.

It has not.
Match quality has actually improved since Role Queue was added.
That’s not an issue with Role Queue, though.
It doesn’t need to be 5v6 (or worse) at all, though. Backfill exists in other game modes. All Blizzard needs to do is add a modified version of that to Competitive and there would never be an issue with leavers ever again.

I stoped playing tank. I keep playing healer and i play a lot more dps.
Are there still people complaining about 222, i feel if we started out with this and the old system was never implemented. you guys would still be playing without a single complaint. 222 is fine, the old system was worse. The main ones complaining are the DPS and people who cant play a specific role good enough to win matches.
The leavers yes i realize that is a problem that comes with role specific SR. But you had leavers regardless, extended wait times for DPS was a result of the devs catering to that class alone. All of which can be fixed but the devs wont do it fast enough.

No there is not more leavers than ever. Show me source where i can see there is more leavers now.
You have false premise thst tank role is most important. Which is not true. All 3 roles are equaly important. No matter how you will switch roles, you will still miss 1/6 of team. You still have hero from each role with one leaver, you dont have to switch roles to win 5v6. You will lose majority of 5v6 games no matter what you do anyway.
