I mean, we even have an entire cinematic involving that particular weapon, not just a side detailā¦ That. Weapon.
In fact, multiple cinematics where that weapons plays a key role in the lore.
This has already been addressed by Michael Chu. When Hanzo lost scatter, he said that, in the lore, Hanzo still has scatter arrow - even if it isnāt in the game.

I donāt think they forgotten about bastion but that they just canāt find a balance between low and high ranks.
buffing him for GM will make him OP in low ranks.
Because a dev said they balance around GM but takes low ranks into consideration.

Iāve been saying for years that he needs a rework, heās a god when babysat and worthless alone. More importantly, though, he isnāt fun to play as or against; and his pick rate shows it.

Posted my opinion in other threads but Iāll post here too. Putting a lengthy CD on sentry is the only way they can rebalance bastions kit.
Giving him back a shield may sound like a good idea but to give his shield back they could need to reintroduce the 180 limited view which was clunky and people hated.
Chi wont like to hear it guys but the only way to rebalance bastion is to take away his lack of cool downs so he has moments of vulnerability
They should just make his Recon Mode better. Any more buffs to Sentry Mode will not leave him in a good spot. He needs to be able to be viable when not in Sentry Mode.

He will stay forgotten, because he canāt be made viable for higher tiers without making him broken.
Play in Bronze. He is played all the time there and seen as a cheese pick because no one knows how to counter him in that level of elo hell.

Except he isnāt. Heās bottom 5 on average. Even bronze handles him better than other heroes.
Come to PS4 where Bastion has the third highest winrate for a damage hero, albeit a very low pick rate.
ive actually seen bastion out more than i typically see one of my favorite gals out lately and ive seen people switch to bastion during a match if they are a DPS
