When you’re on a win streak… in any game or competition, you’re feeling good, right? The seratonin is flowing, you’re making plans for three, four games ahead, maybe you’re getting real ego going on about how you’ll plow to the finish on this grand streak. Nobody can stop you!
And then someone does stop you, and all that feel-good screeches to a halt. And your brain, which for all of us is still basically an ape in a jar, screeches and howls about how unfair it is and how that can’t possibly be true and the Moon-God has cursed your family to find nothing but rotten bananas and woe and misery and angst.
It will always feel “unfair.” No matter what. Because that’s how it always is, for everyone. I know I’m not the only one who goes back and re-watches a match looking to see if that Soldier’s aim is actually that good, or he’s hacking (or, as it almost always turns out, I’m playing out of position and getting nailed).
It’s just genuinely how our brains handle that sort of thing. The question is whether you can realize that it’s a lemur trapped in your skull, screeching about how it’s being unfairly targeted, or if you just give in to the little primate freak and come here to mull over goofy conspiracy theories.

The real conspiracy theory is that hundreds of thousands of people are having brain delusions about how the matchmaker is rigged as a way to take down blizzard the gaming giant.
The answer is really really simple, there are bugs in the system and it’s poorly coded so the matchmaking creates wild swings at times.
Here’s a video showing winning 5 times in a row with 0 losses and getting downranked three levels, tell me, is that a coding issue or am I suffering from more delusions.

Whilst that might be perceived as an issue. That isn’t the match maker, which isn’t rigged.
That’s just decayed MMR and a ranking system that is terrible at giving feedback

So simple that even the people who say it’s rigged don’t know how it works… I’m watching a streamer do an unranked to GM right now, hes won every single game so far, im waiting for the system to give him a 6 loss streak, I doubt it’s going to happen… But i’ll let you know
