Anas using nano to save low hp tanks

So ever since the healing was added back to anas nano there have been more and more games where i see her using nano to try to save low hp tanks in terrible situations…

I know it cant be just me seeing this or having this happen in my games

for example something i see all the time will be 1 tank alone on point contesting going 1v6 and ana from 20 ft away using nano on said tank alone surrounded by 6 enemy players just for the tank to be killed anyways and wasting nano when there could have been a group up and a proper push using that ult

Maybe you should play Ana and show them how’s it’s done?

I play ana when i can, but if shes been taken there isnt much i can do. This also isnt a post saying im better than others at playing her. Just me mad that ever since the healing has been added back to her ult people use it when they shouldnt just to boost heal someone who is low HP

This just in, low ranked players play like they are in a low rank

well i shouldnt just say low rank because on my account thats 2800 it still happens so i should clarify the title

2800 is low, 3200 is low, it’s low.

wouldnt really consider it low when the majority of the player base is in those ranks.

it doesnt happen often at 2800+ but it still does happen

So you admit it’s not much of a problem but still happens? And it is a low rank, there’s low ranks and high ranks. Until you start getting to like, high masters, it’s not really a high rank. Could probably call it above average, but not high

im not looking for an argument
i made my post because its annoying when an ana nanos a low hp person out of place person to save them when the rest of the team is not even there just for them to either panic and use their ult just for them to end up dying in the end

I’m here to say that it’s low ranked players doing low ranked things, you might not see what they do. There’s a ton of factors to it, and if you aren’t the Ana you probably don’t have as much of a right to say unless you are in their situation anyway

That’s a really good strategy actually. Bionade on top of a nano’d tank is nearly unkillable regardless of how many people are on him. It’s a really easy way to get a pick or 2, AND stall out a point long enough for your team to come back and help. I’ve clutched many a team fights by using this strategy. For example, its 5v2. I’m ana, and all that’s left is me and rein. The enemy team gets cocky and over commits on the rein, I pop nano, nade the area, and all of a sudden that 5v2 became in our favor.

Dont just assume that because you have less players up, you won’t win the fight. You’ll end up throwing tons of winnable fights like this

but im not talking about when it works… if it was working and something good was coming of it why would i say anything? most times in my games the person she nanos panics uses their ult to and dies… sometimes its not even a tank she nanos to save its a dps

Also it can be a huge difference if the rein has ult or is close to ult. Ana’s ult is one of the fastest charging in the game, and is one of the most forgiving. It’s probably the biggest “Press Q when available” ults in the game.

You still want to almost never die with Nano, the impact it makes can be huge, and the damage reduction + heals can be enough to stall for the rest of the team to get back.

ok i understand that… but the situations im talking about its literally not working and the tank is just dying and were not getting a push out of it… this post is not at all about when it works… its about when the rest of the team has just died, there is some random on point and the ana ults and they just die and there is no push and nothing come of it especially when there is lots of time left in the game for a good group and push

It happens, don’t know what else to tell ya. It’s not like it’s some crazy good players doing it. And her ult builds super fast, really not worried about an Ana ult being “wasted” in that sorta situation

Why is this bad? Its a 300 hp burst that can save reins and zaryas in the middle of team fights.

That’s on the person who was ulted, you aren’t obligated to ult when nano’d

because im not talking about team fights im talking about when its just the ana and someone else left and the rest of the team is dead
