I don’t know actually. I can’t tell if this would be a good idea. What I can tell is, that she definetely needs an answer to barriers because she can do absolutely nothing but bang her nade on it.
Actually I like her dealing bonus damage to shields… right now it’s not even worth the ammo to shoot barriers for Ana. If a Winston jumps me, I first reload, run away so the Winston has to either stay in his bubble or follow me out and then I can throw a nade and sleep him.
He is still at 90% hp, after that he either gets woken up and jumps after me or jumps out again. I cannot be a threat to him. He wins just by jumping on Ana because she has to use everything in her kit to survive while close to 0 dmg and 0 healing.
Sure, that’s pretty much how a hard counter plays out but she is countered hard by any barrier with no way to tear it down efficiently.

Glad the wall-climb idea was bought up - I’ve been suggesting the half-speed climb (wall suckers stylee) with the caveat that taking damage immediately drops her to the ground.
This would mean it is treated as a repositioning rather than an escape tool.

To me wall climbing would be the easiest thing to start with on the ptr - it would help her out so much with positioning and gaining LoS faster on teammates. Especially on Numbani, I hate walking all the way up those stairs to position myself on top of the bridge only for my teammates to decide to fight the enemies inside the small flank-route on the opposite side of the objective.

Hanzo’s getting his movements buffed and she should also have it available to her as an escape tool. Honestly her having one after his buff won’t be stepping on his toes.

I really like your sleep dart ideas and I hope Blizzard will look into Ana’a balance soon.
About the passives I like the wall climb (since she is a sniper by design) but I would prefer something to get self-healing without using made.
Make Ana wall jump to escape that flanker trying to kill her.
Not so much a change to Ana as one that helps Ana, but give D.Va’s DM a minimum range, let Ana use Biotic Nade safely
I’ve added to the OP that targets should awaken at the same rate regardless of whether they were awoken by damage or they woke up on their own. Really, it’s just silly that we have to start a countdown if we even want to attempt to kill a slept Tracer.

I’ve added to the OP the suggestion that Ana should have 150 hp+50 shields instead of the current 200 hp so she doesn’t need to use her nade for chip-damage.
this is one of my biggest problems with Ana/D.Va…sometimes i’ll throw a nade at my feet and somehow she will still eat it. it’s really frustrating…
i’d also love to see wall climb/some repositioning tool tested out, as well as something to help with her sleep dart…it’s not that easy to land, especially on flankers, yet it’s so easy to wake them up, sadly…
It’s the same if not even worse vs Genji.
He stands in front of me deflecting, so I turn around 180°, look directly at the ground, throw my granade and somehow the Genji behind me deflects it anyway.
Absolutely infuriating.

Have you ever read the suggestion that Ana could heal debuff the enemy by shooting them for the duration of the dmg ticking before? This would be a good way to confirm kills and would further increase her skill ceiling and would reward player for aiming well on cricital targets.
These are great.
I don’t think camoflauge would be a good fit for ana, and instead of wall climb I’d rather her have a super jump, using a hidden jetpack (explaining how she got up on the bridge thing in her gameplay reveal)

I have heard about it, I just haven’t decided what I feel about it. It’s one of those changes that might seem really small but can potentially be very deadly. I wish there was some way of seeing/calculating how it would play out, because it really is an interesting thought!
Hahaha I think everything might be a bit too much of the good stuff, but some of them would be nice (I really want vertical mobility, and shields and a bigger ammo clip would be great!).
