Not playing this sad excuse of a game anymore.
Sure, this is just me being an attention w-word, but yea rip me all u want. Ban me, etc. Call me garbage, trash, whatever.

Why am I leaving? cuz im bad, i guess. I am hardstuck in plat. But is that it? Nah, i think i would have stayed if i was having fun with the game.

The people (if they are people at all) running this game seem to not use their brains all that much. I think nuff has been said about such things by everyone else on this forum.

One other thing that kept me from leaving OW was the ow league, but even that got stale, and your cencorship is just unbelievable. un, (insert bad word cause I don’t know how bad bliz’ cencorship is) effing believable. You make things boring.

Also, please get some official OW translators for the poor non-english speaking players in the league? I don’t know why language has to be such a big problem for a lot of players. I’m sure thats the responsibility of the respective team owners, but like you have to do something about it.

It is your game, and you run it.

Maybe you should stop trying to keep ur LGBT-friendly, super-PC, amazing company esque kinda image and start making things FUN.

Yeah, I’m all over the place right now. Kind of feeling weird that I’m quitting something that I worked so hard on for 2 years.

But man, cant do it anymore. Cause this game be boring. Don’t know about you but its boring for me now.

We all get bored of any game eventually. Two years is still a long time to enjoy any game.

I did the same thing when I play FFXI, I played for 6 years and made a post of how bad the game was. Wrote it to convince myself to not to get addicted to MMOs ever again.

I tried playing TF2 a few months ago, after playing Overwatch for 2 years, I can no longer enjoy it.

These posts are all a cry for a quick pep talk… like a quick “hang in there man, you’re just having an off day… it’ll get better” except they’re disguised as outrage.

Honestly, you got your money’s worth if you’ve been playing for 2 years. Money well spent. No one plays the same game infinitely without switching it up from time to time. It’s normal to move on. You just don’t have to do it in a melodramatic fashion.

Why would you leave in a rage to the community/developers? If you are truly leaving then you wouldn’t see any of these responses anyway. However, if you are raging as a last ditch effort to change things than you would obviously come back when they do change things. Why not just politely stop playing, that way when they make the change you can come back without feeling like your foot is stuck in your mouth.

Eh, its true it’s a cry for attention, but I actually won’ be coming back. I felt like i deserved some attention after 2 years of the game (i mean i know i don’t really, but can’t help getting sentimental lol lots of memories with the game). I knew there are lots of good people in the community and I felt like hearing some nice words from them, its true.

+1 for also thinking their censoring is ridiculous. Here’s an idea, actually show players their stats in game so they aren’t ripping each other apart over speculation. You can’t fix toxicity by blindfolding everyone and then letting your trash matchmaking algorithm pick sides.

You know why Diablo 2 was great? The economy. It was purely an organic machine that rose up from the players in a well tuned sandbox. Ever since, Blizzard tries to FORCE organic, they think they can predict how the players will act in a sandbox that will only let them do what their predictions dictate. It just reeks of amateur hour. That’s the quality that I expect out of anything American made these days though.

Still don’t get why people consider plat to be “bad”.

It’s perfectly fine to be average, in fact depending on where you are you’re slightly above average.

Sure, you might not be absolutely amazing like all of us would like to think of ourselves. But trust me when I say, after spending way too much time in gold, and especially after those games where a friend queues with his silver buddy to try to boost him up, if you can maintain a Plat rank, you most definitely are not a bad player.

Game’s in an awful state as by now it’s clear that devs don’t know how to balance it and the owl is doing horribly.
